I'm a volunteer stage setup for The New Hope Band in San Jose & I wish they could play at least 1 song from the Cocteau Twins. It would move the world.❤❣️

Bought this in February 1994 in Scotland, and drove around the Highlands in a hired car listening to this glorious music. It still sounds as amazing as ever, to me.

essa música é um palimpsesto para mim. por baixo há muitas vidas. uma linha mestra. eu não era bom. muitas vezes eu ouvi essa música. mas agora estou ouvindo novamente. agora estou bem novamente.

robin guthrie is genuinely a grand master of the pedalboard. the sheer level of tones and overall sonic output he achieved during this period has not been matched since imo.

If you listen to the song in the left input she does a bass monotone backing in this song it is so goddamn haunting it's awesome. It's in the second chorus. You can hear it alot better with headphones.

This song made me feel the truly love i lost years ago bc of a toxic relationship. i know it still there somewhere and it intensifies every time i blast this gem. Life has been so difficult, so much pain, drugs, bad habits, toxic people, but this, this is a truly escape. This is not just music, this is beyond comprehension, just pure emotions. Is a blessing to have this in my life, thank you elizabeth fraser and thank you cocteau twins, my favourite band ever.

I was in art school in NZ in the early 90s when someone put a tape of this album in the printmaking room. It ran almost every day, week for that year (Cranberries, Pixies and NIN otherwise). Ive many memories, sometimes conflicting, but fond nonetheless.
