Well, I've seen mostly negative comments about her performance from Dutch people, so yes, she gets more recognition but not the positive one. It goes beyond my understanding why don't Dutch people be proud of having such a vocal beast like Floor Jansen. I've never seen as rude comments about her before as now after this performance which is really bizarring considering how appreciated vocalist she is internationally.

@@helky8 I don't really know the reason why they hate it so much, but there are a lot of comments on this performance like "Terrible" and "Ear rape", some people have said that Floor screams and I've seen also comments like "She can't sing". One comment stuck in my mind where one Dutch said that "I can't sing either, but at least I'll keep my mouth shut". Never in my life I would have imagined that I will see such a comments about Floor's singing.

@@jokuku3669 Singing national anthems is always a great honour, but a thankless task. There will always be someone here who absolutely dislikes your performance. I'm not Dutch and I like very few national anthems anyway. I thought it was good for an anthem ... but I won't listen to it again and again because Floor sings it. But anyone who says Floor can't sing is probably also of the opinion that the Sahara desert is a wetland, or that the earth is a disc ....

And still Floor surpassed Davina all the way😄

The ending note was belt, not scream. There's a huge difference between those two. Floor is specially known for her sustained, powerful belts which are really appreciated by vocal coaches. That ending belt was my favourite part of this performance.

I guess though, that you can't stand this since you didn't like the note in the anthem either😅
