Hands down, I totally agree. It's been the most challenging aspect of my day (and my wife's day) with 2 kiddos under 4 years old. However, to hear my daughter recite the fruits of the spirit or sing Psalm 98 and or a hymn has been a blessing. This is how Reformation will happen.

I'm also Irish, German, Jewish, and Native American. Am I still considered white? Yes, for some reason I am. And all my doctors label me white because of my pale skin color. I also get mocked because of it.

Sobering sermon! How hardly we hear a message on the power of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ our LORD these days. He defeated death, so we would have life eternal with GOD through HIM. This is the main theme of the Holy Bible. What would be of the promise of GOD right after Adam's fall if the LORD had not died for us? The Holy Scriptures would not have any meaning. Blessed is our HEAVENLY FATHER that through the Perfect sacrifice of our LORD JESUS CHRIST, death and Satan are defeated foes to those that believe, cherish and live through the Gospel of Salvation.

Do not prevent the HOLY GHOST to work through you. Go into your Bibles, and into your closets and pray earnestly. You won't understand everything, even the apostles could not because their flesh prevented them. John was undone when he saw the Risen CHRIST in all His power and glory. His being could not comprehend the full greatness of JESUS CHRIST. It is not a new religion, nor a "cult", but faith by the power of GOD through redemption by JESUS CHRIST for the eternal glory of GOD the Father, and joy of His saints. The wicked are happy now, for the world is covered in wickedness and lawlessness, but those in whom even a spec of light live, are made to know that all these worldly wicked things are against GOD, and is a betrayal to the KING of kings that have died for us. So, believe and have the same faith as the Holy prophets, as David, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob; so as the disciples and all the saints. Be not refrained to pray and ask the HOLY GHOST in doing it so. For the LORD cares much for a sincere heart. And He said many times: " Thy faith hath saved thee." And at this time of great confusion and darkness, be even more of greater faith, so you may be accounted as righteous before a Most HOLY GOD.

I wholeheartedly agree with your comment about John's use of "little children", it's very endearing and shows his love for the brethren, and ultimately the love of God. The part of your sermon where you talked about knowing the truth first so you can tell the falsehoods, especially when it comes to Jesus, is wonderful. Naturally, I was just responding to a Catholic earlier who questioned how I could know the true Jesus, and I told him the exact same thing - to prayerfully read the scriptures for himself to learn of the real Jesus, and then he will be able to see right through the false versions of Jesus. How as a true Christian somebody could defend so much that that makes you sin: the flesh?!? We are a new man/woman when we are in Christ. The natural man is buried in the baptism of the Holy Ghost and a new man is born from the Spirit, the SPIRIT OF TRUTH. The first person to convert by the preaching of the apostles was an Ethiopian. Peter was called unto a Roman by the Holy Ghost to preach about the LORD JESUS CHRIST. I am a direct descendant of blacks, white and Amerindian native. My name literally means of the olive tree and milk. If I had been born during the apostles’ time, I would have been persecuted by the Pharisees, if during the inquisition by the deniers of the Bible as the Word of God, if in the XVI to XIX’s I would have been a slave, if in Germany during Hitler I would have been killed also. The flesh is nothing, it is all dung as Paul said, for in CHRIST only we are made perfect and acceptable to a MOST HOLY GOD.

What he was saying in this clip reminded me of this passage: 2 Peter 1:3-4 King James Version 3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: 4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. In no way did I understand what he said to be him equating himself with God.

i made a video critique of joel osteen and kanye west concert a year or two ago and used a few clips. lakewood church got my video pulled down from youtube, i appealed and lakewood kept up their claim against me, so eventually i edited out those clips, but joel osteen and lakewood never back down. i'm afraid they may even bring a lawsuit against brothers in christ (violating scripture). unless you are willing to lawyer up and spend big bucks it's usually not worth it to fight -- if they are willing to go to court. although if you have a clear cut case, i'd take them to court because no matter how big they are, if you are within the copyright law for "fair use" you have a right to use their material. the only problem is they may force the court appearance in texas, usa. it wouldn't be worth it for me to travel all the way to texas to appear in court.
