I live for the Caiman and Hawkeye. Caiman I personally believe to be the best mid range disc out there. The Hawkeye is just too buttery not to like.

Realized halfway through the video what course this was, played this with my family 2 months ago and found 4-5 discs on hole 4 while looking for 1 of mine, RIP, amazing course and def deserves to be one of the top IL courses

The Tern and the Wraith are my go-to drivers. I'm actually really fond of my beat in Mako. It holds whatever line I put it on very reliably. The Valkyrie is also a favorite. It was my go-to before I discovered the Tern. The Tern flips up and bombs, and is a great long flex shot disc. I throw primarily forehand for what it's worth.

Reservoir ridge has gotta be the most underrated course in Ohio, love that place.

My first ace was with a Destroyer on a 230 ft hole; I through it out of frustration 😂... I don't bag anything over a nine speed anymore, except for a couple seasond Wraith's.

First of all I loved this video , I have watched a couple of yours before , I was the idiot that thought the shryke and destroyer was my special sauce until I learned that I don't have the arm speed for high speed overstable discs, now I throw a champion wraith (super broken in) and a champion tern (understable that I still throw on anhyzer ) again arm speed , but I agree with all the things you laid out and it sound like me in my late teens and early 20s , this video made me subscribe and I can't wait for more content

So when do we get a podcast? We listen to you on our way to the course and chuckle. Only o e of us gets to see the video but we all enjoy the content......

Your biggest mistake is bending at the hip to pick a disc up. I'm sure the dudes your playing with absolutley love it, but you're fucking up your future in disc golf by fucking up your back and hips..

I got to play Stafford when I came to the east coast for my daughter wedding. Love that course and hope it stays open. Love the shirt!!!!

Most aggravating loss was my precious Mint Freetail. I had been playing for only a couple of months and this was the only disc that had a chance of going far (for me) and straight. I didn't actually lose it but rather forgot to pick it up. I was trusting the generosity of other disc golfers to pick it up as it was right on the edge of a fairway and a bright lime green color but nay!!! The f-er who picked it up never called and kept it. Still haunts me almost 2 yrs later and angers me even more.

Your entire premise is based on max weight...a lower weight Destroyer is still a great disc.

My first favorite disc was definitely a "tree giveth, and tree taketh" full circle moment. I fished it out of the top of a tree while playing one of my first few rounds with a borrowed disc. It was a blue, DX Gazelle. No ink and this was before the internet so no real way to track down an owner, so finder's keepers. For my noob-self at the time it was absolute magic on our short local woods course. I played with just that disc for probably 4 years (Eventually I added putters and other stuff, but it was still a go-to). Years later, playing over winter holidays, I slipped a little on an icy teepad and drilled first-available. The poor disc split clean in half, both rims, flight plate, straight through. You could barely have done it cleaner with a bandsaw. It sucked, but at least there was closure, and I had backups at that point. I've also lost an ace disc (not my first, fortunately) and that was definitely harder to deal with. Had a number on it and everything, but never resurfaced or got a call. Maybe eventually, but I suspect most folks wouldn't think a champion aviar is anything special. I've had several others returned as our local community is great so 🤷‍♂
