I love Vince. I used to follow him around the black hills to watch him play in my hey day. I was so lucky to see him in his prime. Got nothing but love for him and the music that soared through his soul as he played. I hope I get to watch him again at least one more time.

Lived with him in Blackhawk for awhile at Becks house. The Deadwood jams and the Buck N' Gator in Rapid were 2 of my favorite times.

I saw Vince last night (11/07/19) at Houston's Big Easy and he was fantastic and doing well. What a rockin, bluesy evening! Everybody had fun.

My buddies and I used to see this guy whenever Sunset Heights came to Bryan/College Station when we were at A&M. He signed my copy of "Born In Houston," which I still have. Always a great time with Vince, a few brews, and some blues. Those were the days!

Vince is my friend, as are the All Stars. He is an amazing guitarist. He has lived...anyone who knows the blues can hear this in his playing. He puts many famous guitarists to shame. He should be respected for following his integrity and passion rather than selling out as many wanted him to. My friend Vince stayed true to his passion and feelings. Had he sold out...he would likely be rich. God bless integrity.

I personally knew him. Hopefully he’s doing well. It would be fun to take a road trip to come see him sometime.

What do you mean by "selling out"? The music industry wanted him to tone down his guitar solos? I met him in some small town in Louisiana where he was jamming in this bar. Fucking blew the whole block down. He was very nice and gracious to me, ...I really thought he was going to break through and make it. I'm not a fan of blues music, but his style I love. IMO he's better than the legendary SRV. The only blues players I love are the late Billy Gibbons, Randy Rhoads, Yngwie Malmsteen and "Vince Converse". I saw clips of Yngwie playing this kind of blues in Leningrad. It goes past people that Randy Rhoads was a blues player ....the solo and song for "No Bone Movies", the solo for "Steal Away" the chord voicings for "Flying High Again". Vince killed it on that level!! ..
