Police track down taggers and vandalism. Assignment of two Detectives in the 8th district /FQ and work your way out from there. When the residents see people getting locked up they will come around. Most will.

Wife and I moved out of Nola in 2021 after calling it home for 33+ years. We drive back once a year for a Dr's appointment, sure seems NOE thru Algiers has become more dirty with each passing year!

So who's 10 commandments are you going to teach. What about other religions? Will we have a Bhudist prayer wheel at the entrance of each classroom? Will we be required to serve only vegetables to not offend a Sikhs vegetarian. Would we now be allowed to do book reports using the books of the Bible? I would love to start with the story of the tribe of Benjamin being slaughtered and how that occurred. I bet their would be a parent meeting on that one. All it says is that the CHURCH FAILED AT THEIR JOB OF INDOCTRINATION!

Doddie Horton thinks it's a good look to have religion in Louisiana classrooms but it's an embarrassment. She should resign and become a minister.

Revenue you mean extortion.
@MichaelJones-uw8gi2 ай бұрын
All they doing is generating revenue. Tax collectors and not cops. If too dark, one thing, BUT, I will not roll my window down for their tint meter. 1st, where is your warrant. 2nd. What RS32 law says I have to violate my rights, under the 5th amendment, to self incriminate?? We saw where weights and standards got slapped for arrest of a trucker who refused to HELP then do vehicle checks. No, cops no longer crime fighters, they are tax generating tools for their keepers.

I disagree with Governor Landry. I know that the Lady Tigers not being present for the national anthem is routine for them and not done purposely to disrespect the flag or our nation. I disagree with you when you say that the military has nothing to do with the flag because the flag stands for freedom and we enjoy those freedoms because of the men and women in uniform who have fought for our freedom. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

i remember as a child, it snowed near my birthday in May, as a child i was very intrigued! mid 90's some time, finding info was not easy but from what i could understand in following years, it was the consequence of a large erruption! then honga tonga errupted just a few years back, we have more info than ever. despite this, less people seem to be aware of this issue, an im not sure they would understand if we acted it out in dance for an olympic ceremony

35:00 - On that subject, I feel like more good paying tech jobs would absolutely help Louisiana. I was born/raised in Louisiana and work in tech (systems engineer). I moved away from the NOLA/northshore area to Colorado at the age of 30 due to the lack of opportunity and pay. I do really well in Colorado with my skillset, but I absolutely miss home every day. It's unfortunate, but there is just not enough opportunity for tech down there. I would absolutely move back if they had more tech opportunities.
