That is simulation mode only. It does not come with the standard HDS 9

I never hear the original 365 called an OG. Anyway, I choose the XL because it fit my hand like a glove unlike the OG and the slide is not as tall. The OG looks like a 2x4 mounted on a broom handle. (just my opinion) Too much like a Canik

Dude, this is very misleading. You should have also explained exactly what you need TO ACTUALLY make it work. Had you also said “it also will cost you an additional $1000 for the box and additional transducer, AND that transducer needs to plugged in...” I would have subscribed and upvoted.

This just turns on the simulator. If you want have 3D when you’re on the water in your boat,...you need to buy the Structure Scan 3D module and the Transducer. Another $1000.00 dollars. I bought mine a month ago. This video just gives you a demo glimpse of what the 3D looks like. When you install your structure scan 3D, Pay an tension to how you install the 3D module. We’re talking about the power cord from the 3D module (this is in the installation guide). The red goes to positive, the black goes to Negative,...and yes, the yellow wire ALSO goes to the Positive. Without the yellow connected to the Hot(positive) the module doesn’t know that it has to wake up and do work when the Fishfinder gets its 3D button pushed.

Does everything come in the package? I may want to add serius xm weather later but only thing I dont want is radar. A fish hawk x4 wont hook up to this will it?

Hi Gill.....I just ordered this HDS 9 Live and my boat has no gauges. My motor is a year 2020 115/80 Mercury Jet. What do I need to connect my motor to my lowrance so i can view the RPM's and other gauge functions on the Lowrance? Thank you for any help and others please reply with any information. Thanks

This dude is misleading you here. All that does is turn on simulator. You need an extra 3d module as well. Costs extra

Very interesting. The Raymarine Axiom9 RV Combo comes with their all in one transducer that does 3D imaging and its around 1300.00

3 in 1 Transducer 3D ??? I have the HDS9 Carbon with a 3 in 1 Transducer 6' of cable on a Kayak.

The center line at the bottom of the scan field is not the prop wash. If it was it would be suspended in the air like the fish. The center is the gap from the two side transducers. This is common in side scanning sonars.

Hi Gill, question for ya, i bought the HDSLIVE 9 with 3 in 1 transducer included, the ducer shows up as "unknown" in settings on the sonar, wich one do i select? , none match the A12 3 in 1 i have on the sticker , and on the box, / for example my old gen3 hds had totalscan, that showed up as totalscan m/h , but not this new one, gah, any ideas on this one is welcomed, thanks in advance, // greetinngs from Sweden ,

is the Point 1 gps antenna compatible via the NMEA network? Also, does it have a 7 pin port for the skimmer xducer?

You still have to purchase the 3D sonar hub and transducer to get 3D images while on the water. Turning “simulator” on simply puts the unit into a “demo mode”

Gill, can you tell me how you were able to video your HDS screen and not get the distortion lines? When I try to do it i get discoloration and wavy lines on the video screen.

Have new hds live and when I plug AI 3&1 transducer into channel 2 it will not bring up this transducer under sonar installation? It will on channel one but then I can’t use side scan? How do I get this to function properly so that I can use side scan, 2d and downscan?

Really neat, question: why is there always a channel under the vessel. All of these videos show a channel under the boat?? Is everyone driving directly down the main channel? Is it a glitch in the down imaging and side imaging ? This does not seem like and accurate view of the bottom.
