I love Joy but unable to find these days. So lovely and elegant. Any suggestions for a replacement that is still available? I detest these heavy, spicy and sandlewood fragrances. I don’t want to smell like a man or a forest.

And I have used Dana taboo all my life. And that is not the smell Has changed it doesn't smell the same anymore, at least not what I get.😢

Try Amouage Gold male version of chanel no5

Guerlain coped Emeraude because it was, Madame Guerlain's favourite perfume. Coty was first. Emeraude was greener, more crisp, brighter and far more seductive in the drydown. I used both Shalimar and Emeraude from 1973.

So. I ordered this version for women because of your review and the unique scent profile. I recently purchased another fragrance marketed for women, which actually is unisex. Damn nice chypre floral. Maybe you know it. Jean-Louis Scherrer Eau de Toilette. 🙃

Royal Oud is fine for a wood scent but I get no oud from it, should have been named Royal Bois. Also in the same vein as Royal Oud is Houbigant Bois Mystique. Also for those seeking a woods scent Comme Des Garcons Wonderwood.

Apparently, BaV inspired Ms Taylor's own inaugural fragrance 'Passion', released in 1987.

This one definitely got reformulated and the original is still the best. Smells like a completely different fragrance unfortunately. Just smells like a dupe for Dior Homme now.

Wtf they discontinued Joy? Love the way it smells on women. Why?
