Last race using the Lexus. Had to lower my ecu % to 87 to get under 800pp. Also my rear downforce maxes out at 1000. Everything else is the same. Not sure what im doing wrong. My pp is 799.81 and max power is 480 compared to your 497. 🤷♂️
@ProdigyRacing3 күн бұрын
Just tested this, I changed my rear downforce to 1000 and my ecu to 87% and got the exact same numbers as you, this is super easy to fix. From the main menu head to ‘GT Auto’ to the right of ‘Tuning Shop’ click on the middle icon which is ‘car customisation’, scroll across to ‘custom parts’. Once in here the only option thats highlighted should be ‘Wing’, click on that and install ‘Type A’ this will unlock the rear downforce to 1100. Putting this setting at 1075 and increasing the ecu back to 90% should give you an identical car setup to mine. Hope this helps 👍. If you’re having anymore trouble or hav3 any more questions let me know.

Aw man, thank god i found this video, last night my brain ended up being noodles after 5 hours miserably failing tuning a Silvia for the challenge hahaha Just got 1st in the races, thanks again for your time spent and effort in such detailed video. I toggled a couple of things to make it more suitable to my style like my front ARB at 6 and a bit more down force at the front and some damper variation but i couldn't do it without having the set up in the video as a base/guide. You have a new subscriber!
@ProdigyRacing4 күн бұрын
Im glad the guide helped give you a base line and then its great to see you made your own changes from there. Everyone's driving style is different so not all setups will be perfect. These Silvia Sisters races are kinda weird and potentially bugged. Some of the AI cars have really high top speeds for 500PP (Performance Points). The top few AI cars reach speeds of around 270kph which is crazy high for 500PP. Even tho 500PP is only a suggestion I tried to keep the Performance Points are close to it as possible but in the end these races are way harder than they need to be so in my opinion you're better off just giving yourself a better car and get them done and move on to other world circuit races. Thanks for the subscribing! I really appreciate the support.

@ProdigyRacing4 күн бұрын
Every time you do the race the AI will have different results. Sometimes they will be faster and sometimes they will be slower. It varies because the AI isn't perfect and will make mistakes so it might take you a few attempts to win the race but use it as extra practice time to get faster and get a better understanding of how to drive the car, these cars can be very tricky to drive and slowly improve.

All of these races are within the Performance Points rules except for the Silvia Sisters race at Deep Forest Raceway. I have tried many setups at 500PP for those races with no luck beating the AI on hard difficulty. To this day, there is a lot of talk about the performance of the AI cars in the Silvia Sisters races. We believe the AI are over tuned/ bugged and the fastest few AI cars have around 600PP due to there top speeds being around 270-300kph. At the end of the day those races have a suggested PP range not an enforceable rule telling you cant go over 500PP. In this video even with 550PP and nitrous I was struggling to keep up with the first car so a car with 500PP would have no chance. I appreciate the feedback tho and will continue to try and find a setup below the suggested PP limit.

Gehe mal ans Limit ;)) Best regards and good start for 2025 :)

@@swinc_GTfriends I completely understand what you're saying and to some extent I agree with you. However, my guides are meant to show the easiest way to beat these races. If I can provide you information that makes it really easy to win even on the hardest difficulty why wouldn't I do that? The last race is a World Touring Car 800 event, it doesn't specify it needs to be a Group 3 car. I could use an upgraded Group 4 car and probably still win but for the purpose of a guide I will always show you the easiest solution to winning these race. The Group 2 car I used was just under 800PP obviously and the AI were faster on the straights in comparison to me, I however have a lot of practice around Mount Panorama and for the most part probably make it look easier than it actually is. Not everyone has the time to invest into car setups & strategies but they still want to play and enjoy the game, this is primarily who I make my guides for. If I wanted to make it more interesting, harder and entertaining then I would make videos of 'Using a 500PP car to beat an 800PP race'. Or I would just play online and record races. My number 1 goal will always be to help people win World Circuit races and continue making guides for them, my videos aren't necessarily entertainment technically. I have built a community that can help each other beat these race, countless times I have seen people commenting with different car setups & strategies to me and working together. I will do my best to always stay within the rules but make sure that these races are still reasonably easy to win. I spend countless hours testing cars and setups to make it simple an easy to follow and replicate. As mentioned in my last comment, I honestly do appreciate you voicing your opinion to me and giving me constructive criticism. Hope you had a good Christmas and a Happy New Year to you too!

This weeks races are a little boring in my opinion. The lightweight kcup race definitely spices things up a little but the rest of the races were kinda meh. These special event races still don’t require strategy and even tho it’s a group c championship you aren’t limited to that category only, you can pretty much use any car you want which doesn’t make any sense. Anyway, rant over 😂 I hope you have a wonderful Christmas! 👍

@@KBurke-u3h Agreed, the races are great. All special event races have been good, the MX5 category is another good one In my opinion. The only criticism I have with the current DTM races is they don’t require any strategy, no fuel/ tyre management and no pit stops. If they make them into a proper World Circuit category in a future update I hope that’s something they change. I also think that every Weekly Challenge race should be a special event, it would make things interesting and a lot more difficult but also rewarding. I know a lot of people don’t have the time to smash out all 5 of these races at once and might take a few attempts/days but they should make an extra reward tier for coming first in all 5 races not just 3rd or better. Maybe double the rewards if you win all 5? Weekly Challenges should take about 3-5 days to complete, not 3-5 hours. That’s my opinion tho, maybe it’s a little bit too much of a commitment for casual players. You’re welcome 👍. If my plans don’t change I should be able to do the last 2 weeks of challenges over the Christmas break without any delays to the release of the guides which means I would’ve made a guide for every week this year which was a goal of mine when I started doing them at the start of 2024. No plan to stop making them either. I am currently trying to brainstorm ideas on how I can improve them.

The BoP is preventing me from taking third and fifteenth place. I had bought most of the brand name GR3 cars and can not seem to catch up with the AI. I had the fastest car 788hp but BoP dropped it down to 516hp. This is the last endurance race for me to complete the game and this race is preventing me. Can you help because I see your car is going over 200mph and mine doesnt do that
@ProdigyRacing27 күн бұрын
All cars are very well matched through the BoP. The AI are very fast in this race and to win this race you need to be able to do consistent 1.58 - 1.59 lap times every lap. My speed is in km/h (kilometres per hour) not mph (miles per hour) and so you're seeing higher numbers because of the conversion difference. My top speed is around 160-170 mph and you should be seeing similar numbers. Unfortunately this race takes a lot of practice, even tho you haven't found a car you are 100% happy with, find one that you feel the most comfortable with, stick with it and start learning the track, where to brake, where to position the car for corners, and once you're comfortable with the track you can start pushing limits, brake a little bit later into corners, get on the power a little bit earlier out of corners. It will take time, between learning the track, learn how to drive the car, managing fuel and tyres and trying keep up and pass AI its a very difficult race. Practice, practice, practice. Don't get discouraged, if you're getting frustrated take frequent breaks and do something else then come back and try again.

Hello! Did you try to do the Daytona 800 with a Gr3 car on hard difficulty? I did some tests and ended up using a Gr2 as well. None of the Gr3s I tried had a decent performance to cover the initial 20 second gap and with good consumption. Regards.
@ProdigyRacingАй бұрын
I have tested a bunch of cars including Gr.3 cars. You’re right, for the World Touring Car 800 races Gr.3 cars don’t have the best tyre wear, fuel consumption and overall pace. The game kinda baits you into using Gr.3 cars because that’s what the AI are using. I can beat these races with a Gr.3 car on hard difficulty but it’s incredibly challenging and even harder to do on controller and the most important thing with any guide I make is it has to be somewhat easy to beat on controller and steering wheel. Using power restricted Gr.2 cars is the sweet spot for the World Touring Car 800 races. Easier to drive, more downforce, better tyre wear and fuel consumption while also being more consistent.

Yes use the same setup. As for the strategy its been about 6 weeks since I last tested this race and my notes might be a little bit outdated but follow this: Strategy: Start the race on Racing Hard Tyres, change the fuel to level 6 and keep it there the entire race. Pit at the end of lap 12 and only add 3 laps of fuel, do not change tyres. If you follow this strategy and you're still having issues let me know and I will do my best to help you.

@@rayyisadzafirashadiqoh5969 Im happy to help but my notes are very outdated for this race but I will give you what I have for now and if I have some time over the next couple of days I will test and update here. Here are my notes. Car Choice: Lamborghini Huracan Gr.4 Buy these items: Power Restrictor Sports Medium Tyres Make this setup changes: ECU Output Adjustment: 90 Power Restrictor: 94 Front Downforce: 200 Rear Downforce: 300 I have my Brake Balance set to -2 but this is personal preference. Again, this setup will get you under the 600PP (Performance Points) requirement but I haven't tested this out as of recently in terms of strategy. From memory this race has a chance of rain so make sure you have also purchased Intermediate and Heavy Wet Tyres. Since you're using Auto gears you might need to increase the fuel setting to 2-3, im not quite sure. The last time I tested this race I was able to complete the entire race on Sports Hard Tyres without making a pit stop because the rain was very light but this is variable so keep an eye on the weather radar. Use all of this info as a baseline and make strategy changes if necessary depending on weather. I will do my best to make time and test this race over the next couple of days but if you give it a go and you're still struggling after using this info reply here with what you're struggling with and I will do my best to help you.

Hey, I’ll take second try. Everyone has a different opinion on car selection for this one, but I’ll copy what I got from Reddit and worked for me. Porsche 911 RSR (991) ‘17. Fuel Map 1 the whole race. TC1 the whole race. Racing Medium tires. Pit at the end of lap 10 and lap 20. Change tires at each and only fill fuel to 10 laps during each pit. Dirty tactic, but take out Rubilar on lap one. Spin him around in a corner but make sure you don’t slow yourself down too much in the process. I ran mid to high 1.58s for almost every lap with a few 59s and I think one 2.00. Ended the race 22 seconds ahead. I play on controller, automatic transmission, hard difficulty, ABS default, ASM on, counter steer strong. Steering sensitivity 0. I hope this helps you if you’re struggling!

This one just didn’t work for me. I wasn’t driving quite as well as you but still putting down consistent 2.28s. In the end I lost by half a second to the R8 Gordini, which I think only pits once, if ever, through the entire race. This car is just a constant fight for traction with so much energy lost to slides if you aren’t perfect on your corner speeds and throttle control. Not forgiving on a controller.
@mrosiensАй бұрын
Update: won on my second try by a full lap following the advice of another commenter about adding a custom wing and maxing downforce. It took me from 2.28 laps to 2.26. Other notes: I don’t think there’s a benefit to hard difficulty on this track, set to easy. Braking hard and early won’t do you any favors on most corners, partial brake all the way to the apex with small corrections. Finally, I think with the added downforce you end up using a little more fuel. I’d fill to at least 90% when you make your 20min pit.
@ProdigyRacingАй бұрын
Not sure if you were using them or not but for this setup I recommend turning on Traction Control and Active Stability Management, I normally don’t use either of these settings but with this race a lot of the cars slide around so using these assists helps with keeping the car stable which gives us more consistency. Using a custom wing and altering downforce is an option but when I was doing some setup testing for this video I found that adding more downforce with a custom wing meant lowering power output even more and the straight line performance was terrible. In testing I was mostly using a controller. Using my setup with the above assists mentioned the compromise of less downforce for straight line speed still worked really well. Everyones’s driving style is different so I understand that the extra downforce may just be better for you and it makes you feel more comfortable driving it so I am glad you tried other options and found something that works for you.

You gotta start somewhere, my number.1 priority when learning a new track and car combination is too always do slower exploratory laps, slowly build up to it and find the right braking spots for your driving style, once you have those consistency is next. Aim to be as consistent as you can, it doesn't matter if its 1.47. If you're doing 1.47 every lap then thats a good starting point. Once you're comfortable and doing consistent laps the speed will come the more you practice, keep at it!
