I loved watching this! I think your ability to use Science and Social Studies as part of ELA is creative. I was wondering if you use technology in lessons such as a Smart Board? You might be able to incorporate technology in some way.

Yay i agree with you so when my child get it I want her to get it right because she has a test to do and when she do it she got them right all right I am so proud of her ❤ 💜 💕 and my son too got it right I make them practice a lot before they can go play and they got so happy they passed but they are smart, Thank you for this video hope it helps my children.

I know right!? My grades have slipped. They're good grades but they've gone Down a lot. I used to have an A+ grade but ever since this common core crap has started, I got dumber. Like when u get older, who's gonna sit there and draw a dumb tape diagram!? Who's gonna do let's say like..... 37x22 and draw little boxes!? Now my grades are like equivalent to a B- Or a B. This COMMON CORE CRAP MAKES MY LIFE HARDER! Jeez..... Imma get opt out this year again! Like really!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WIill you (NYSED) also be using the data to adjust future tests? Incorrect answers are not just a sign of where teaching or materials were deficient. They can also be a sign of inappropriate questions. What analysis will NYSED be doing to ensure our children are tested appropriately?

Will the entire test be released? Can teachers see the actual student answers- that is the only way the test can be used to "inform instruction". Can parents see their child's test, including all questions and answers? If the answers to my questions are "No" the testing program is flawed.

As a student who has been through common core, I can honestly say it's not a good idea. It definitely needs to be refined. I'm an AP student with incredibly high grades and I can say that common core is poorly written and needs to be revised before hurting more young and impressionable minds.
