A true story that I would like to tell - The apparition of Our Lady Mary , which I had at home in 1996. It was about midnight. I lay down about an hour earlier. And couldn't fall asleep straight away. Concerns about my eldest son's serious illness did not allow me to calm down. What had I tried to help him! Doctors, healers, priests, nothing helped. In 1989 I made a pilgrimage to Medjugorje, the place where Our Lady appears. I went there as a devout Christian. In what was then Yugoslavia, now Bosnia-Herzegovina. At that time I prayed to Mother Mary for help and healing my sick son. On Apparition Hill. Where she first appeared to six children in 1984. Thoughts ran through my head that evening, then I fell asleep worryingly late ... Something made me wake up. There was a truly inexplicable scent of flowers in the room, similar to the smell of jasmine, although there were no flowers in my apartment in the 11th district of Vienna. The room was dark. Dim light came in from the window and the moon was gone through a blanket of clouds. As I looked to my right at the bookshelf next to the bed, I saw a small light. That looked like a reading lamp. I looked at it with interest. It can't be, I wondered, how does this light get here? Then it got bigger and bigger, took on an elongated shape. And seemed to expand upwards! There's no such thing, I thought and rubbed my eyes - a shadow emerged from this light - a figure came out of the bookcase behind it - Suddenly it was as bright as day in my room, as if someone had switched on the electric light, Bright light, it seemed to come from the walls, I couldn't explain how. Incredible. I sat up in bed with astonishment while my dear wife slumbered deeply next to me and did not notice what was going on. There: In front of me stood a beautiful woman in a blue dress, with a white veil, on her head a ring with asterisks, there were 12 of them, so I counted. A real wreath of stars. I recognized it straight away, it looked almost like the one in the pictures of Medjugorje, the place in Bosnia and Herzegovina where it appeared to six children in 1983. And how these seer children saw the Blessed Mother after a drawing made! I had a picture of it once. she stood in front of me, no, she was floating on a kind of fog! It was the MOTHER of GOD who was there to the right of my bed and who came out of the bookcase. She must have gotten through the wall somehow, I thought, and felt an indescribable feeling of happiness inside me. Yes, that's exactly how I saw her on a Medjugorje postcard - only she was much more beautiful here - a slim woman of about 30 years with a beautiful face, I guess she was about 1.60 m tall, dark hair, brown eyes. Very light, white skin. Slim hands. I did not see the feet because they were surrounded by this fog. It was moving, no, it was floating sideways, next to my bed! I was paralyzed. Thought: It is you, Our Lady - Truly! You really exist! And you are with us in the apartment, visit us. How beautiful! The wreath of stars moved with her as she came to the end of my bed and stayed in front of it. She looked at me seriously with her pale face. Her mouth moved slightly, but she said nothing. This person was there as real as any normal person. I was unable to move or say anything. I thought: Mother Maria, I am happy to see you. At that moment she said something to me, but unfortunately I don't remember it with the best will in the world. Then she raised her right, slender hand, which was closed - it opened slowly and, one could say, small, golden stars jumped out of her and enveloped me, I mean, they somehow penetrated my body, that's what happened to me before - and disappeared in it. It was like in slow motion! It was a mystery what happened ... I counted, there were 42 pieces. I thought: Mother Maria, I love you, please protect us all - she seemed to understand, because suddenly she smiled - and shortly afterwards she moved back to the closet - as if mechanically - the light got weaker and weaker until it went out - that remained little light that I saw at the beginning and which also slowly went out.I was awake for a long time.
