I wonder if the Forti Layne Entertainment logo from 2004/05, it actually used a tune of some sort, in their logo sequence. Do you have a recording of the Forti Layne Entertainment logo? If not, then maybe ask Kevin and/or Brian if they have the former logo(s) stored somewhere in their archives? I can tell you this: That aforementioned production company, it was initially involved with producing Pepsi Música (back when it was known as "La Cartelera Pepsi" at the time), which formerly aired on a channel called Telefutura (now UniMás).

Don't forget that you can hot-swap the cards while recording and even format a new card while the other card is recording.

Does the Canon YJ20x8.5B4 KRS SX12 lens work with the Sony EX3 using Fujinon ACM-18?

Negative. The ACM-18 does fit on the ex3 but it connects to 1/2” bayonet lenses. The YJ20x8.5 is a 2/3” bayonet lens. Consider the B4EX3 from manufacturer MTF. It will require either manual zoom operation, or some other solution for power of the zoom servo motor.

I have a question, I want to record 120fps but want to make sure the external recorder works first. I have a C500 and Ninja V which records 4K but it doesn’t support dual SDI with the C500, thus no 120fps. Have you actually connected this shogun with the C500 (not mark II) and shot 4K 120fps?

hmmm... this is an old one. I believe there are 2 options for DC: a DC adapter with a special plug that goes into a connection on the rear, typically covered by a rubber plug, or a "dummy-battery"-style DC Power supply

HELLO JESSE! I just got my Sony PMW-EX1R and shot some footage! My question is: I used an SXS Adapter to transfer my video mp4 files to my computer! The problem is the Palmcorder puts each take in a separate folder making, batch capturing impossible! Besides using the USB out in Media Mode, can I use the Fire Wire IDEE Output to do the same? Will Adobe Premiere recognize it and control it like it does with a Mini DV Cam? Is there an advantage of using a USB vs a Fire Wire IDEE?

Hi Jimi, Adobe should make file captures much faster and better than controlling a miniDV tape over firewire. Try reframing the capture as a file ingest vs. a batch capture. You're digital now, totally non-linear!

there is a hardware switch either on the lens or on the body near the lens, to change between manual and auto, you can try that. there is also a "full-auto" button that, when engaged, prevents manual control. hopefully that helps, it has been many years since i had my hands on one of these beauties

Thanks for watching, and for you comments. Many other cameras do. On sony it is often the ‘thumbnail’ button, on other cameras it is just labelled ‘play’ or the play triangle symbol

@@mamanagosto sony definitely took a cue from arri here, making the f55 work like an amira. Their cheaper camcorders do require some complicated menu manipulation

Thanks this is great. I've looked everywhere to find out about the knob which I now know is counter balance. Thank you. Even the official tutorials don't mention it. Unbelievable. Can you tell me do you have a video about using the midlevel spreader? I have the same tripod and not sure what or how to use the mid level spreader to it's full meaning.

Thanks for watching, and your comments. The midlevel spreader allows you to manage all 3 legs even if the floor is uneven, or if you are on a staircase with one leg. The only control you have is the extension of each leg on the spreader

@@gurmukh174 the dc port looks like a usb port… but slightly different. The usb port will not provide power. If you have the specific power adapter, you should be able to find the power port behind a rubber cover
