I’m working on a css template for everyone to have that would be an advanced version on this and hopefully that would make it easier for you. ❤️

This is a great question! The portal pages eliminate the need for FLOWs, which have limitations in showing where people are at a glance within the process. While you can check submissions or impersonate users, portal pages allow you to see the circles transitioning to the next stages. Additionally, they enable you to move users to desired steps instead of following a strict step-by-step flow process. Both options are very useful and can help maximize your process.

Thanks again for putting this video together. I don’t know if you have a video for it yet I haven’t gone through all your videos but what I would be interested in seeing is use cases for on demand flows. And I noticed that it sends an email to the client that a flow has been assigned. And I have no idea whythe client would want an email, especially utilizing the keyword flow in the subject line. And what it would look like from their perspective as well.

Hello! Thanks so much for your feedback and for checking out the video! Regarding your question about On-Demand Flows, they can be really powerful for automating specific client processes. One common use case is when you want to allow a client to trigger specific actions, like filling out a form or completing a task, without manual input on your end. It can also be used internally to streamline workflows like onboarding, project kickoffs, or follow-ups based on certain triggers. As for the email notification, it’s designed to inform clients that something requires their attention. You’re absolutely right-the default subject line with the word “flow” may not be ideal for every situation. SuiteDash allows customization of both the subject line and the message content, so you can change it to something more user-friendly or specific to your business needs (e.g., “Action Required: Please Complete the Next Step” or “New Task Assigned to You”). From the client’s perspective, they’ll receive an email with a link that takes them directly into their Client Portal to complete the required action. You can customize this whole experience, including the steps they see once they log in, making it more intuitive for them. I've not made many videos on FLOWs but I sure will now. Hope this helps!

Great workshop I really enjoyed it. And I can’t agree with you more because I’m just starting with this and having that plan map to begin with is crucial. And can’t agree with you more on the form. Should be the last thing that you build because it needs all the other pieces. Like circles, proposals, auto templates, etc..

Thanks for the video. I am just getting situated with ours. I love the idea of getting inspiration from Canva. I was wondering how your layout design looked when it comes to various screen sizes. I know you’re using margins and negative margins too kind of pull things up and shift things over but as screen sizes change. And the way this platform works is with fluid layouts. I guess did you run into any issues when you pulled up the mobile version and your your button grouping how did that turn out?

You’re absolutely right-it’s definitely a work in progress! We’re currently experimenting with more CSS-driven designs to get even more control over how things look and behave across different screen sizes. The goal is to make everything as fluid and responsive as possible, but it’s taking a bit of trial and error to get there. We’re finding that using CSS gives a lot more flexibility, especially when it comes to mobile responsiveness and keeping those button groupings intact. I’ll keep you posted as we continue to refine things! Let me know if you have any tips or ideas-always open to learning more!

Hello, I purchased Suitedash about two years ago but returned it because there were too many features and I felt overwhlmed. Fast forward my business has grown and shifted and I am exploring it again because it's back in appsumo (much higher cost now). In your opinion, can it be customized for a birth business; tracking leads, consults, client visits, client dashborad for resources, one place for communicating, etc.

I'm not gonna lie im not a fan of suitedash due to how complicated it is. but this feature is definitely something that got my attention. i sell only subscription services. I only start work when a client has paid. so this is perfect

The video didn't mention that I use this in tandem with SuiteDash. The joy of being a systems enthusiast is having a variety of tools at your disposal. SuiteDash is a fantastic system with its own unique strengths, and Notion undoubtedly has its own set of advantages as well.

Hey! This is possible but not recommended. The Suitedash platform would be branded completely for one business. However, if both businesses have the same branding, this would work perfectly.

Second part answer - I create outlines. I like to map out my process by the step, tool, and action type (automation, manual, user action). It's VERY helpful.

This saved my life! I was struggling to design a portal page and dashboard that I liked and this helped. I used Canva step by step as you did in the video but struggled with the buttons. I was able to take another design that had the layout of the quick links and add my Canva design on top of it. The bottom line is it worked, looking forward to more videos.
