Problem is SMF is a relic and doesn't have it's own identity compared to TG. If they routed TG towards chonky fat hits with raging blow, and SMF with the cracked out Rampage spam, I think both sides would really come into their own. TG, I wholeheartedly believe, should have almost the MoP fury playstyle with the crit stacking and the fat RBs. I'm saying this as someone who loves playing the "weird" specs. 2h Frost, SMF fury, (fkn wish I could 2h enhancement). The playstyles can and should be different and not just amounting to a dumb cosmetic choice. Just my 2c

No, the fact you need to spend a talent point to use SMF is insane, it used to be a passive for fury. You could use either 2hndrs or 1 hndrs without the penalty....why they added this is beyond me

I think arms deals very similar dmg to fury, I think it’s just way easier to lose optimal dmg on arms, it’s not forgiving

Yes, called Fury. We already had a 2hand spec called Arms. Some 5 year old at blizzard in wrath thought it would be cool to DW two handers. he was wrong.
