The people's resilience to the effects of climate change must be applauded, but at the same time their stories need to be told so that our leaders know and "feel" that the effects of climate change is real. Young, school aged people in our country are developing their values from experiences that don't necessarily build the human spirit, instead causes more harm and justifies unhealthy behaviour.
