Thanks Ray. You did a great review, and it looks like a great product. Thank you for doing that. I think if you redo the gasket on the dust deputy you will see 99.9% going into the bucket. Your getting way to much dust in the shop vac when using the dust deputy. I can go a year on my shop vacs using them every day emptying dozens of buckets of saw dust with out ever cleaning the shop vac and when I do it's only a speck of ultra fine dust in there. Again, great work, Ray. I think this is a good way to go for me, too. So I can have a "main" quilt with a comfort around 35 degree F. Which is lighter and packs smaller (and is less expensive). And if I may go on an adventure on which I expect lower temperatures I'll take the second "sheet-quilt" with me. 🙂 Now that I saw your video and gave it some thoughts it seems so obvious: we do the same thing (layering) with our clothes. So why not with the sleeping system 😀(what we already do, regarding the R-rating of mats: layering them also pushes the R-rate up).

Thanks for the video! It's an interesting solution. One question regarding the sheet: how's the feeling with the "half"-sheet? Doesn't it feel strange, to lay on two different materials? And does it make crumple due to movement during sleep?
@Ray_Here
@Ray_Here Ай бұрын
@@KUJ81 I can’t really comment on the difference in feel as I’ve used it twice and both times were in cold weather. I was wearing sweat pants. It does not crumple up during sleep as the straps hold it in place. If you are concerned, just buy the full sheet. I don’t think it costs much more. Here are two other videos you may be interested in. One is testing the system down to 35 degrees which is the comfort rating of my quilt- kzbin.info/www/bejne/sJK5eaishrKCoa8 The second one is adding the Zenbivy pillow - kzbin.info/www/bejne/g6OUg59qdqabpMU I just completed a forth video in the series about how to add another quilt layer to the system with snaps to get the comfort rating (Well I was warm anyway!) down to abut 20 degrees.
