Back in about 2003 they used to let people ride in a small two person seat on the coal tender. I was able to ride with my 7 year old son who was a train fanatic at the time. That’s a memory he has never forgotten so whoever the engineer was back in 2002 to 2003 thank you for the ride.

I recognize one of the whistle quails. That’s from Tweetsie Railroad. What’s the engineers name. I know one of them.

The engineers don't wave from the trains anymore, not like they did BACK in 1954.

Neat. Too bad the audio and video are so out of sync. What's the purpose of the horn? Any specific reason why the engineer kept looking at things off to the side? Why is the guy sitting in the tender not doing anything? Back in the day, did they wear any kind of hearing protection or did they just lose their hearing?

Locomotive 70 a 2-8-2 Mikado known as Cinderella was build in May 1938 by the Baldwin Locomotive Works in Eddystone,Pennsylvania.
