You are ignorant about the Sochan experiment. That was never going to be a permanent thing. As for Tre Jones, you REALLY don't know WTF you are talking about. CP3 will be playing 30mpg and avg a dbl-dbl.

I think the 3 pointers in catch and shoot situations are the problem for Franz right now, as far as i remember His percentage of movement 3's was better than catch and shoot 3's. His shooting arc often is way to Low often which could easily be fixed with putting some work in changing this arc. I' d Love to see him work with Holger Geschwinder, but i also think that the next season might be similar to last season because he did play the World Cup last season and this year he plays Olympics.which means he obviously is missing a lot of time to fix this issues.

Bro You Definitely need to put the drugs down during the beginning of your videos because that CP3 tale was blasphemy. CP3 may not be a better defender no more, but now he has Wemby behind him. CP3 is a better point guard that TJ. Shooting, mid range, being a pointgod, he is going to make the spurs considerably better.

A few months ago, everyone's saying Edey's playstyle would not work in the current NBA and projected him to be a late second rounder. Now, everyone's saying he's perfect for the Grizzlies. I always said he will be invaluable as a brick wall screener, like a Steve Adams or Domantas Sabonis. I'm so envious at the Grizzlies right now. I really wished my Spurs drafted him at 8.

@rocketleaguedude48426 ай бұрын
Been a Purdue fan for years, one thing people overlook is he was asked not to be aggressive on defense because his offense was so important, scoring at the rim against him is going to be a serious problem, teams on average dropped 20-30% in terms of total attempts at the rim just from his presence nevermind when he can be aggressive at shot blocking like his sophomore year. Grizzlies will be hard to stop on offense and hard to score on with him on the court
@CameronBurke-vw2mb6 ай бұрын
we got burnt in rebounding for so long, JJJ sitting there arguing with refs instead of working on that 2x DPOY. he likes to shoot 3's, Edey doesnt so we're going to be fine. It's rare to see a guy like him actually use his size in today's era.
@CameronBurke-vw2mb6 ай бұрын
sorry, not watching but came here to say damn right. we needed a center more than anythiing ever period. not just any center, a bruising center. lobs to edey about to go viral

zach Edey is underappreciated in this draft class because he's Canadian. Edey is the two time (back to back) national college player of the year, if it was an American player who had that honour, the media wouldn't stop crowing about it. Thnank you for this video and analysis.
@coopermagaha46206 ай бұрын
i don’t think it’s the canadian part even, i say it’s cause he’s 7’4 and is so good, and makes it look so boring, and he’s asian. i think those are the main factors. cause i think it’s crazy he’s not the number one pick. that literally means shaq wouldn’t be the number one pick, and i would argue he wouldn’t even be picked in the whole draft, he can’t shoot a mid or a three. and can’t play d. he plays drop on picks , he gets torched
@Eagle86 ай бұрын
I am not sure why he wasn't rated higher other than the game in centered on wing players who can score from anywhere on the court. Scoring in the paint is still important. Edey makes the Grizzlies more rounded.

Glad to see some people recognize the ability of Edey beyond just being ‘tall’
@RobBridgeforth6 ай бұрын
I don’t think folks understand - and as a Memphian and a Grizzlies fan since the day they arrived in Memphis, I’m PROUD because I see it 😤 - but if Edey keeps developing on his already super solid game, stays healthy, and Ja has no unnecessary outside distractions, this is going to end up being a modern day Shaq & Penny situation. Styles of play are different for sure, but in terms of a 1-2 punch with a super athletic and smart pass first PG that can and WILL get you buckets, and a 7ft+ big/true center (with size too, not just tall) with a post game, the potential is clear as day. To take it a step farther, you add in JJJ & Bane😵💫… Smart, GG, Clarke, Santi, etc. 🥴… if their chemistry stays intact/egos stay out the way and everyone continues to grow/mature and want to play together 😳……Maaaaaane, I’m catching the faint smell of potential dynasty. Straight up 🤷🏾♂️. And not even talking about when Ja ACTUALLY hits his prime. It. Will. Be. A. Done. Deal. But we’ll just have to wait, watch, and see!
@CC-sv9fs6 ай бұрын
I think people just fear he’s going to end up a gangster in 5 years lol and won’t be in the league with Ja Morant, they also think he just won’t fit their culture. Honestly though theres a reason why Memphis drafted him they needed a center and they got one.

Nobody can predict the future but based on his trajectory of improvement, his work ethic, his determination, and comments from the people who know him best like his former coach ("He's a lot more athletic than you think he is") I AM expecting him to be in the All Star game. It could be his rookie year, maybe later, but he'll be there and I'm going to love seeing all these "slow footed big man" commentators eat their ignorant words. Just sayin'.

Edey will start taking 3s when left alone…he is capable of making them…he will need a bit a time to get comfortable adding them to his ingame arsenal but he is more than capable of hitting from deep
@coopermagaha46206 ай бұрын
3s arent good for zach edey, it takes away his unstoppable post game, and if teams sit in the paint on him, he can be put in any pick and roll action, and the ball handler will have a wide open three or midrange every time coming off a zach edey screen
@chuck10266 ай бұрын
@@coopermagaha4620 your right but it isn’t about him making a threes it’s the threat of making threes…the defense being forced to guard him a bit closer to the 3 point line rather than posting their gobert right under the basket
