Staying in touch via video chat and planned meetups, common interests and hobbies, mindsets and support, being assertive, honest and real with each other. Fellas got resolve and conviction that's impeccable. Keep in mind though, my circle have majority of the time have been long distance with the exception of two friends. One of which I lived with when I first moved to Atlanta back in 2015. We all are somewhat scatter throughout the US. The one I lived with still resides in GA. OIhers are in FL, LA, CA, NV, MI, NC and SC. I currently reside in TX.

@JawonBlackmon That's dope. I think it matters when you have people who WANT to keep in touch and cultivate the relationship. That's where most of the breakdown happens...that when people are selfish with what they want (What about me? But about me...etc.)

@@DMCTheJustDrawzPodcast most definitely! Even in NEEDING each other is vital to the growth and innovation of those connections. Nobody's an island and the interdependence is something to marvel.

It always good to have a balance of comparison and contrast with those you forge connections and bonds in any type of relationship established. Personally, mindset and character development at it's core is what does it for me. My circle, going 16 years strong, was built on those principles.

This was an very intriguing and hilarious conversation to listen to. I don't see an distinct different between nude and naked. Seems the same to me. Although, I'll say when it's put online, I refer to them has thirst traps or shenanigans. Sure there's folks who have an artistic flare to it, but otherwise, some really want the clout and attention to go along with it. I agree, those who live the naturalistic lifestyle have some discipline and integrity that is remarkably admirable because not a lot of guys can keep it kosher and classic around others. I've been exposed to the naturalist lifestyle back in 2013 and have been to Haulover Beach once. Granted I wanted to get naked, but at the time, a certain friendship prevented that from taking place. 😅 I didn't get to experience it until I went to FLEX in Atlanta back in 2016. My (ex) partner and friends went at the time and the overall experience was cool, except for the part where I was violated by an unknown there. Personally, it'll take me a while to build up to get back into it, but for now, I keep it close to the belt for my own safety and comfort level.

what I ADORE about this conversation at 38:22, the transparency about self esteem issues that Darius didn't know Jeff was experiencing and the perception of actions. The gratitude expressed "thank you for telling me" is an example of GROWTH in friendship and the ACCEPTANCE is remarkable! I love this! Perspectives are powerful and acceptance is the soil that grows friendships. Love this and thank you both for your honesty and transparency.

Sounds right to me. The men in my life act, and I feel so loved by the service they give in my life. I have to be careful about the things I say if I just want to talk because they will repair, purchase, and fix. Actions speak louder than words!

Jeff, this is super relatable throughout my saga. I was passive, nerdy bookwarm who was into computers, gaming, comics and anime as well. Definitely a easy target for bullies and revanants alike. High school was a real trial and struggle for my coming up for numerous reasons. I attempted to fit in with the crowd, but realized during my senior year that I walked to the beat of my own drum and just had to carve out my own niche. I had friends, who I still connect with (back home in South FL) til this day, but we all have our life paths we have to follow. My college years was where I began breaking out of my shell. My dress code was very reminscent of Doug Funnie from Nickalodeon and it took years to find my style, comfort and coordination, especially once I got out on my own. It's funny because I got judged by family and friends for my attire. It was was cringe during and after my progression. LOL I also made more friends during college, in certain jobs and now with my hobbies. My core close circle is made up of guys who are gamers and anime heads who share a lot of common ground and experiences throughout life. Interesting enough, are all straight guys. Nice to know there are others out there who share the same string of frequency of hobbies, interests and experiences. This is a good video!! Keep it up!

Yeah I don't get that. I am not running to the theater just because Ryan Reynolds or Beyoncé is voicing a character. Kids really don't care about any of that. I get it's to encourage the "adults" to go to the show but still.
@AndreAsunte5 ай бұрын
@@JeffersonBrown Exactly. And really, the adults never know. They just go see whatever their kids bug them about. My mom had no idea Whoopi Goldberg or Matthew Broderick were in it decades later.

People operate off familiarity. They can't envision the next thing. That's why they want every character/actor/I.P. to be rebooted and remade. Progress is a challenge to the imagination for some.

Curating your social media feed takes so much work, but it is worth it in the end. It's definitely easier on twitter. I eventually had mine where I didn't see discourse, homophobes, or celebrities. Just superheroes and astronomy. It gave me a new space for escapism. Tumblr is that for me now. It's really just pics and vibes, like a low-key Pinterest.
