I’m not sure if this is it but when I was 11 my appendix twisted on itself, I couldnt walk, and family played it off for a day or so, then they took me to urgent care, then the we, then radys, and my appendix had already ruptured. In the hospital for a bout a week, retrained my muscles to walk again. And ate a lot of ice cream 😎 (again idk if that’s what this young man went through)
