"Success" is the authenticated response from (AUTH SERVICE), whereas "initalized" string is the non-authed? or like what does this function even do? how do I find that out? bro I'm having a stroke ChAYNging. it is CHAIN GING

@@rxpe so for this auth specifically "initialized" would be when the program is first initializing and "Logged in!" (which is hidden) would be the successful login string. we found the function, call, wtv u wanna call it that decides whether or not we are logged in on the client side. in this case, since we removed any authentication to the server, the last saved string in memory is "initialized" which happened when we first opened the application. idk if i explained it well but lmk

also, the part at 1545 is just the function that reads the response from the auth. if we get rid of it, the response is jusf nulled because there isnt one. by default, many applications just log in with a null response which is why it works a lot of the time.

as long as you go to symbols and select the executable, you should only need to use "all current modules" not "all user modules" right? it adds a bunch of useless junk.

Um... Some constructive critique in here: First of all, don't just randomly throw terms around you as if anyone would be able to understand them. I think the most could be quite confused when first trying to learn something about Reverse Engineering and they hear that there lies a difference between 32bit and 64bit applications. To be honest, if spoken about, you could also go in a lot more detail there. Besides that, based on experience, most crack.me(s) are harder than reversing any copy&pasted software used for P2Cing.
