Consistency. I think intensity is something that you can gradually improve and increase as you learn to survive and hold your own. The consistency will allow you to drill, roll and become more efficient. As a beginner consistency really is a key thing I found because it allows you to draw on the basics and find what works for you

This guy doesn't impress me at all. He has absolutely no class. And p.s. when you lock that "seatbelt" watch what happens to your neck, if your opponent has any grappling skills at all.

bahahaha Chris Haueter doesn't impress you - okay dude.
@rileylong80005 жыл бұрын
@@battlefieldsbjj No he doesn't jackass. He's not showing anything that hasn't been shown a thousand times before in a thousand different gyms across the country. On top of that, he doesn't have any consideration or respect for the people in his classes. Don't get all bent out of shape, there's still room on his nuts for you.

You are talking shit about a legend.....what have your contributions amounted to ? Do you even roll? I'm one of Chris' students, and owner of Combat Base Clarkston located in Michigan. You sound like one of the dumbest people speaking on a subject you know nothing about ....if I'm wrong , come check out my academy.

put the wrong foot on the hip first. my poor partner ate my knee this weekend. however on a positive note after I had the two hands on the tail over the shoulder I did have control of him.

Chris I want to tell you I’m a new white belt 5”9 & not fat, but weigh 200lbs & every guy I roll with is smashing my guard” Yes I’m still learning how to move” but I kept thinking 🤔 why is everyone so happy to be on there back in guard & out of ALL the videos & seminars YOU my friend finally said something SMART & also help me realize that I was correct. In a real match when I have my first one April 7th I DON”T want to be on my back lol BUT if I do find my self in that position with my short legs & arms I have a option now. Sorry for the long rant but I am now a HUGE fan after a couple videos & you have helped me maybe unlock some ideas on how to create my game. Please let me know how I can help support your channel so you can continue to put out amazing videos & last question? How could I find your Gym & maybe come train with you guys one day? Thank you SO MUCH New Subscriber 👈👍

the one thing that bugs me about BJJ (i also cant stand the barefoot nonsense, but some shoes or ruberized socks on) is how much you expose your groin in guard

One of those passes where you just want it over with. You would almost give them side control for it to stop.

@judorican973 i would agree normally but you dont know the purpose of this drill to criticise.Its to get the fight to your strongpoint when sparring a better thrower,if you havent done a lot of judo a bjjer will never compete in that area,you need to take the thrower out of their arena into yours.The lack of takedown points in bjj dont encourage them either.Personally ,i train judo and wrestling in addition to bjj and enjoy the wrestling most but have been injured way more than in groundwork .
