Not really. The suction pressure is the key. I have used 100s of times. The safest and quickest to save bees.❤

When they swarm usually they are docile because they are in mission to find the home and protect the queen. There is no reason to be aggressive. Then again some bees are. But it is rare.

No worries. Just like any other things. You just need more practice. It needs lots of strength on your wrist and as you push it down move the knife back and forth. 😂❤❤

pretty sure the point of this method is to leave some honeycomb behind so the bee's expend less energy building it all back up. don't hate, it's good for the bees

I use the same method. You don’t lose any all you have to do is strain the caps separately to get all the honey off them as well. Pretty obvious
