Hi there Dave, this is a 17CFM unit. With sand blasting equipment you could run this unit depending on the nozzle size you use along with the pressure you blast at. For example, if you use a size 2 nozzle and blast at 90PSI you could use this unit comfortably.

If your compressor head is blowing air instead of sucking, you may have a intake valve issue within the head. You'll need to examine internally.

60 gallon compressor keeps running. Only runs up to about 70 psi it’s a 90psi to 135psi compressor . But won’t get to its set point. Could this be my problem also. Builds up air. Just won’t shut off. No leaks anywhere. Maybe check valve in tank at the top?

Hi there Jason, if it just keeps running and running, will not shut off it would be the valves in the head of the air compressor. You'd need to take the heads off to replace the valves or gasket that have worn/broken. I hope this helps.

Hi there Arshad, you can do this but the footprint maybe different so you'll have to do some adjusting along with pipe diameter increases and fittings. It's a lot of work to be honest, so you might just want to sell your old one and upgrade completely.

My compressor starts working and builds pressure up to 150psi but sometimes during work it will not start and won't keep tank charged. Sometimes it turns on only for a few seconds then goes quiet. Sometimes I hears something that it wants to start like air going somewhere through the pipe for about 2 second and then quiets and stays like that. Fails to keep up pressure in tank when I use it. Pressure goes low as 50psi but compressor doesn't start. Then I had to open drain valve to release remaining air pressure in the tank. Disconnect it from AC power for few minutes and it starts working again build up to 150psi again. I don't hear any air leaks. What could be wrong? Jow to fix it?

Bang saya mau tanya, misalnya kompresor saya tabungnya sudah penuh. Trs saya stel tekanan kluar anginya di angka 4 bar, pada waktu saya buat ngecat pas di angka 4 bar kan kompresor saya hidup lagi,tp kenapa ya di saat saya buat ngecat tekanan angin saya tidak berada tepat di angka 4 bar malah turun dr 4 bar kalo pas spraygun saya pencet terus,tp di saat spraygun gak saya pencet anginya baru mau naik lg bang, kompresor saya yang oilles bang. Kira" apanya ya bang??

Hello there Risal, Your air compressor main pressure should be set at around 100PSI. You then set a regulated pressure that you wish to spray at. This then will give you a continued air flow and pressure flow without pressure drop. The only time you would lose pressure is if you exceed the air requirements.

my oil-less pump got submerged in water during a heavy rain and sat there a few days before I realized. It now is rusty and makes a quiet buzz when plugged in, but does not pump. If I follow the steps in this video, could that possibly save the pump and make it work again?

Hi there, any electrical motor that has been submerged in water should be checked off by an approved electrical motor rewind business. They'll be able to determine if your motor is salvageable. Better to be safe than sorry when it comes to electrical items.

Hi there Eagle king. If you have time please email us a picture of your air compressor to [email protected]. Every oiled air compressor will have oil carry over regardless of brand. Excessive oil carryover can be a number of things, oil type used, excessive running atomising oil and so on. If you can send us more information to the above email we'll be happy to assist.

They are a mechanical item and just like your car which also requires servicing otherwise you can and will get problems. It's brilliant that peerless have made servicing parts available to their customers. It shows that they want their machines to last and for their customers to get better value in the long run from a longer lasting machine that will run more efficiently. My hat is off to peerless for this! Most other sellers prefer you to throw away the 'dead' machine and buy a new one.

Hello there, on some oil less builds you could, but as you already understand the duty cycle is a critical point. The longer the pump cycles for the harder it is working. Heat is the motors worst enemy, the hotter it gets the higher the chance of hitting the motor overload. Always check the air consumption of your sandblaster then pair your air compressor to the air demands is much preferred.

Hi there Faisal, If your air compressor losses it momentum, this could be related to the air compressor pressure, this could be set too high of pressure or, the power supply to the air compressor might be poor voltage supply. Try checking these two things, power is a major factor when running an air compressor, so make sure it is plugged directly into the power on the wall. I hope this helps.

Hi there, With the white smoke coming from it, this may be the piston barrels and rings requiring replacement. Along with the valves.

When you remove the inspection nut on the check valve you show a seal and a spring. You don't talk about the gasket on the inspection nut. My check valve is leaking at the inspection nut and before I open it up I wanted to see if you would be able to tell me what type of gasket is on the nut so I can order and replace it. Thanks!

Hi there Billy, The ring gasket around the threaded nut doesn't normally wear. You can use a dab of gasket glue on older models, our new model non-return valves no longer have that type of gasket.

Hi there Andri, The rings are Teflon and do not require any grease. No oil or grease should be used on oil less air compressors.
