Glad you found it informative. Thank you ! You can book it online or offline both. Just make sure to reach the harbour before time to grab a decent seat. It’s usually overcrowded.

I stayed at two places in Baku. Promenade hotel which is walking distance from Nizami street & is very central. Hotel and location both are nice. Alba hotel , 15 mins drive from the centre. Good Hotel & very reasonably priced.

If I'm not wrong, hotel booking & return tickets are not mandatory. Of course it might make your case stronger

Yes, tickets and hotels are not mandatory at all but it definitely helps. The most important document is your bank statement and the balance you maintain. Although as of now, the visa restrictions are quite relaxed and there are no rejections.

Make sure there’s a min balance of 2.5 lacs, and the statement is in original form ( pdf file ) as downloaded by the mobile app. No scanned copies. Only original file.

Nizami street & old Baku are five mins walking distance apart and both the areas are equally stunning, so you can stay anywhere. It’s almost the same thing.

Arbat Street is different on different days and in different seasons. It has evolved with time through Soviet days till today. I found it beautiful anytime of the day or night, Twilight or dusk till dawn. I didn't understand what you expected

Thanks for sharing your perspective! Maybe it was just the crowd or the overall vibe that didn't resonate with me. I found Panfilov and Dostyk Avenue to have a fresher & vibrant feel that I enjoyed more. 😊
