You forgot to mention that the Small Rig has the same rail up and down. And so it can be flipped. The DJI one has to be completly unmounted and changed to the other side !

I used the DJI twist grip. One thing that I am totally disappointed is that the knob ( that allows you to change from dual handle to underslung mode ) drop off easily and there is NO SPARE PARTS for this small knob.. Once you drop this knob, you won't be able to change the mode. And when I spoke to DJI, I can only purchase a new set and they quoted me a price that is $40 higher than their listed price stated on their website.

going outside the zoom debate. (2x looks SO much better on M2z,), but colors looks just more defined and true to life on M2zoom I have to admit. Strange thing. Nobody talks about the color and color separation, color density, color depth (sometimes) this is what actually stands out not the 8k resolution 7x zoom or even 240fps. Mavic 2 zoom is still incredible machine in many particular ways better than latest Mavic 3, insane.

Hi David, did you stil keep to the zoom? im upgrading to the Mavic 2 zoom, im just a simple dronepilot and use it for fun and making some films from areas i visit from time to time. So i think this is a good investment for my kind uf use. I buy it nicly used for 450usd. So i think i get a good drone for a good price. What video editing softwares do you recomend? Thats is not to hard to learn?

@@crazedcasey Sorry. The news tricks people way too much without explanation. All it was really was just a supermoon, which appears to be bigger and brighter than a typical full moon due to the fact that it is closest to earth at that time.

A fabulous clip that was totally destroyed by that bloody awful music in the background! Surely for a rare classic like a Bentley drop-head you could dignify this luxurious motor car more suitably with a piece from Vivaldi or Tchaikovsky . . .

Hey David thanks for posting your review on these almost 2 years ago. I am definitely getting either the Smallrig or the DJI twist grip version but I need your help. What do you think about briefcase mode now? Do you actually use briefcase mode or would you prefer just using the dual handle upside down? What are your thoughts?? Thanks in advance!
@djeffway
@djeffway Жыл бұрын
Hey Nikko! To be honest, I have barely used briefcase mode. Prior to buying the RS2, I had a Zhyiyun Crane gimbal and almost always used it upside with a dual handle because I felt it was smoother that way. When I got the RS2, I was expecting to use it upside down most of the time too, since that was what I was used to. However, the way the RS2 is designed makes it nearly impossible to use upside down. One of the arms actually sits directly above and in front of the lens when you're upside down with it, and is oftentimes in your shot and inhibits you from panning up at all. But, I've adapted to using it right side up and have loved it, and actually prefer it now. So, to answer your question, I don't use briefcase mode, unless I was doing a really low-to-ground shot, and using it upside down doesn't really work. Hope that helps!

One of the countries BEST public Universities! I ❤️ UMass/Amherst! I attended nearby Hampshire College as an undergrad, BUT, I studied at UMass fairly extensively throughout my undergrad years; taking courses and doing projects there and utilized the vast resources that the University offers to Five College students. It was my #2 grad school choice ACTUALLY, and I'd been offered a Three-year MFA Fellowship there, but I wanted Yale the most.

You CANNOT beat New England in the Fall. 🍁❤️ I attended nearby Hampshire College, but I took MANY courses at UMass/Amherst, made a LOT of friends at the University, and participated in campus events there frequently. I grew up in NYC, so even though I appreciated Hampshire's smaller campus as a place to live & study (because of Hampshire's unique academic program) and the more "hands on" approach to designing my own education (which I had not had much of in high school) and while those aspects of Hampshire were wonderful, it was also limiting in a sense because it was a small campus. UMass/Amherst is definitely a VAST resource to ALL Five College students, but it also helped me to break out of the insular "Hampshire bubble" I would fall into socially & activity-wise on my smaller campus. When I'd go to UMass/Amherst, I could step out of that into a larger academic community, so having that duality was one of the best parts of being a Five College student.
