I live in DC and was coming back from a track meet the night before the accident. My school is in view of Potomac approach, and I was able to see aircraft arriving on rwy 19. One of the aircraft I saw on the bus that night was N709PS arriving from Bangor, and saw many training Blackhawks in the days leading up to and on the accident day. I had no idea what was about to happen. RIP to all the victims of the tragedy.

So their we’re 3 aircraft in the picture leading up to the crash the tower said to the black Hawk pilots do you see the CRJ they said yes we have it in are sights but they were referring to another CRJ plane taking off and they didn’t see the one coming into land

ATC should have given the Black Hawk to do a 360 and wait until further notice but they didn’t and why was that also why would the 2nd controller in tower leave early he is supposed to be on shift and your putting 1 controller to handle this and the fact that Donald Trump is blaming diversity which is so harsh like that is 😞

Like I don’t understand how can I black Hawk helicopter which was on a training exercise crash into an American eagle CRJ like and why was thier only 1 Air traffic controller I don’t know to blame but this is an absolute tragedy rest in peace to all of those onboard 😢💔💔

this hit very hard here in dc. some people i know knew some people on the plane. my heart goes out to the families involved❤️ forgot to add, i’ve been on N709PS before, DCA-CVG. scary to think that i’ve been on a plane that is in the bottom of the potomac river.
