Yeah man the way I see it, once we get to a point where we can’t stand so many things about the culture in which we live, we just gotta leave. Ain’t no fighting and trynna change the machine. Thats pretty much impossible. We just gotta leave. I’m so tired of living here. I can’t stand it. I feel like I’m plotting my escape. And man it’s gonna be expensive. You are truly blessed to have been able to get out and thank you for putting me on to the DR. I hadn’t thought of it.

You can dispute your point with facts and you can report the establishment to the tourist protection department. Just make sure you have a bill of service. Whether you ship your car or buy it here you will still pay somewhere around minimum of 45% or more for the value of that car. The dealerships has to go through the same process i did to get a car here. They have to pay for shipping, they have to put a tag on the car when it gets here, and they pay import taxes (yes they get a slight tax break because it's a business but it not a huge savings). So it all comes down to whether you want ship the car you know or buy a car here that you don't know. There is no substantial savings to buy a car here especially for a quality car.
