I agree so much with this smart man. I plan to relocate to Mexico. Every time I go to Mexico on vacation, I don’t want to come back. The last time I was there in November 2023 and I felt anxious knowing I was going back. I got to get the hell out of here.

The level of lawlessness in the U.S. has become quite disturbing. I feel like people aren’t paying enough attention to that. Unfortunately, sometimes people don’t pay attention until it touches their life. I’m at that age where I can see the decline as compared to previous decades. It is horrifying.

One question most may have is about the instability in Haiti. Does it impact Dominicans? Also, have you had to deal with any tropical storms, and if so, how long does the Dominican Republic take to get back on track after a storm?
@JayAbroad13 сағат бұрын
The instability in Haiti is Haiti's problem mostly. Doesn't impact Dominicans on a large scale not that I'm seeing. The infrastructure here is built for tropical storms and hurricanes for the most part. I've been here for 3 years and have not experienced a real storm. When it is a heavy rain it does flood and after 3 to 5 days it's back to normal pretty much.

Jay bro you hit the nail on the head as my dear grandmother used to say, I tell people exactly that all the time it’s safer there I feel than in the US!
@joantonio6331Күн бұрын
One funny thing about american (some of them) is that many are relocating to africa (Kenya, Ghana, Gambia ect...) and some of them dare to say women are unsafe there because a total of 4 women got killed while in the us womenicide is way way way higher. And another stupid one (faucon noir is his youtube name) says that france should cooy american gun law to protect the citizen... So a man ina country where some city have more.murder than the entire country is saying that that country should copy them... And that idiot went as far as justifying shooting and killing an unarmed 13 years old girl who was trying to break into someone car whole that person was away because hey you the grown ass man feared for your life when you saw that 13 year old unarmed girl..

To sum it up: I had lot of apprehension before going to the DR... I even want d to change flight to land during the day... In the estate i was there were armed guards with shotguns so i was like "wow"... Then as the days goes by, the more comfortable i felt and during my stay never once i felt i need to b on alert... In the meantime when i go to the us, i am always on alert... You know random attack, random shootings ect. I was at a mall in nothern new york, my kids and wife was at the trempoline park but me i stayed outside on the lookout in case some rando decide to exerce his second amendment right... When i was living in the IS, it was not rare that i hear gunshots
