How does your channel not have 500k subs? Great stuff sir. I've been early extending a long time. Also, the right arm is trained to straighten to reach the ball. When I try to tip the tower, I hit it fat because the right arm keeps straithening even though I tell it not to. Any tips to train right arm bent?

Thank you for this helpful lesson. For the lateral move over the left foot, is that accomplished by pushing off the right instep or the rolling of both ankles? Or simply leaning the rib cage left? thank you, Jeff

What a great lesson! This was very relevant for me as I am naturally using a lot of lateral movement forward and producing good launch conditions. My concern is that not only is my lower body and mass moving forward, my head is also moving forward over the ball quite a bit (lack of side tilt?). I have been working on keeping my head more behind the ball. Do you have any comments on the risks of excessive lateral head movement with this mass shift to lead side?

I guess that's why I'm still single digits.. I feel the water not moving at all through the whole swing :)
@vanbalzup64819 күн бұрын
That’s because you are sending the energy from the backswing straight back in the other direction rather than allowing your transition to remove the kinetic energy. A pause can be very helpful because it allows the force you create in the downswing to go unresisted.

Thank you! With the popularity of the “super rotational and drop” swing models these days, I have so many students that never get the cog of the lower body far enough left. Even if you’re the best rotator on Earth, it’s not going to work very well for you if the lead hip never gets to the wall 🤷🏼♂️

Curious your thoughts on the relationship between getting over your lead leg and stance width. Recently I realized my stance was wider than I thought after doing some mirror training. I was having trouble getting my weight to the lead leg and staying balanced resulting in fats and thins. bringing my feet closer together seems to have helped with, balance, consistency, and ease of strike.
@CameronMcCormickGolf21 күн бұрын
I love a narrower base for this very reason
@CameronMcCormickGolf21 күн бұрын
The only issue is if it’s overly narrow you sacrifice some ability to create swing speed via horizontal forces (think baseball pitcher launching themselves down the mound)
@yeuchia20 күн бұрын
@@CameronMcCormickGolf I think for me I went from just outside shoulder width apart to at or just inside. Realized what felt like was correct was actually a bit of an over exaggeration. I think that is a common problem I have with online learning. Trying to create a feeling and over exaggerating it on the course. mirror training has been really helpful in showing correcting that for me

Should I focus on lowering my launch angles (dynamic loft) to improve better ball striking with my irons? Right now, my avg score is 90-100. I tested myself at the range today and with a 7 iron, I get… 80-85mph club head speed 25-30 degree launch angles I am ~6 months into golf, and I’d like to see how good I can get. I’d love to hear what you think I should focus on to improve. This channel is GOLD! A literal gift from the golf gods. Thank you so much!

Interesting that you encouraged some lateral movement to the lead side. I had a coach that completely discouranged that (called it body checking the ball). However, when I allow myself some lateral movement towards the target my launch angles and distance are way better. Your video explains why!!! Thanks

@@CameronMcCormickGolf Yep she's clearly talented. But doesn't discount what I'm saying. They all have swing faults, even the best. Look at Speith. His swing is terrible and getting worse. Rory is prone to some left snaps. Tiger had all sorts of issues and changed his swing too many times. Guess we're all human.

Thank you for your helpful videos. Question; From the top as I move laterally with thighs and knees, and right elbow to the side, do I concentrate through impact a rolling both forearms or simple move the rib cage open to a proper follow through and just let the hands follow?
