my VH world domination campaign was only focused on trade and development in the early game... my only enemies are the barbary states and the pirates... i even broke alliance with the 13 colonies... took the ivory and spices trade nodes until i have enough money to leave a 3rd rate fleet to protect the mainland deleted every pirate settlement... invaded india... and then declared world war to america... and finished with europe the only challenge was maratha, spain and russia

Why wouldnt you sack the capitol first then occupy?

I dont understand how your capitol isnt being attacked endlessly? I just started playing this game and I am using this character but I cant even leave to go anywhere because the turn I am out of reach of getting back entire armies show up and fuck up my capitol you start with and Im screwed each time. I was finally doing good last night and around turn 190 9 armies showed up outside my capitol which was finally lvl 5 and I couldnt do a dam thing about it. I had 2 large armies inside and barely made it back with my main army and 3 bloodhost ones and they just outnumbered me too much

Eohric died in my campaign of natural causes as a child sadly, never got to see what his stats were. So far though everyone is a governor, Lyfing and his first son that just came of age is also a gov. Waiting on his brother to come of age next turn and hoping for a general finally. Adopted one of the young generals with a lot of potential just to have a warrior branch of the family. I crushed Wessex so hard with the help of Gwined and Powis taking their wrath while I took Wessex I don't have enough armies recruited yet to be able to deal with the Normans, I could have vassalized Holderness when they had all of York and won the long kingdom, but had to hold off and just waiting and building up economy and armies now, my Welsh vassals took off to Ireland to conquer there since we have all of England south of Northumbria with no where else for them to expand. So might just let them take enough territory to trigger the long conquest, with all my armies waiting on the southern coast for the Normans to say hello.

I waited until Powis and Gwined got to the borders of Wessex and started a war with them before making my move. 1 turn before that a viking army smashed through Kent and Sussex destroying an army. So when I got there I just started taking all villages from Kent until he couldn't field an army to defend and ran through him and Sussex, while one army ravaged Wessex and cut them in half, they kept chasing Wales into northern Mercia, while I kept rolling them up from behind. Let them live in Nottinham I felt so bad for them lol. Now they are my Vassal because I had to save them from Northumbria messing with my pet English kingdom. They collapsed so fast and I got so big, I don't have enough governors for the rich provinces, or enough armies to cover a kingdom any bigger due to unit replenishment pools. Northumbria would agree to be my vassal giving me long kingdom victory already by barely 900 ad. but I don't have enough armies to deal with the Normans in the south, and anything anywhere else... So I had to go back in the save and not win so fast. Cornwall also defected and became my vassal to save them from Wessex the first time they turned around to go crush them. So they kept Defena busy and took everything they could except Exeter before I got a border with them. Excellent distractions! Djurby danced with Wessex and kept losing kings every turn to them, kept them so busy I decided to make them a vassal also, lol.

Great video but just wanted to let you know that princess's can in fact talk to settlements. Just right click on settlement and enter as diplomacy. Hope this helps

Why are your battlefields always different than mine? I have been following every oyourf your steps and every single battle ive done has been on a different battlefield??? Is it a mod? If so you should 100% mention that beforehand...

I have no idea what i did wrong i followed your set up from the very beginning and have now gotten to "vauls anvil" settlement i have my treemen in range for reinforcments but the sisters cannot attack the city? I have the little sword as my cursor and i am in range of the settlement as i was just outside of the hostile territory thr turn before exactly how you have it and i cannot attacj the settlment it lets me get right next to it but it wont let me attack? Im playing with 0 mods and ive basically done exactly what youve done in this video and have no idea why i cannot attack this settelement if anyone can clarify the problem or explain the bug im currently dealing wjth that would be amazing ive been trying to get the sisters to attack for like half an hour and they just sit next to it and do nothing.... im right clicking on the settelment and they just wont initiate the attack. Pls help

Bro you outnumbered the rebals by 1k men insane… clearly you have no experience playing total war games please go back start a new game on easy or normal and try again… you coulda sieged the settlement out cut thier numbers down by 20-30% while also waiting for you ladders and towers to get the walls. Plowing all your men into a tiny gate was very smart as you said before you started the battle… I couldn’t watch you play anymore I almost lost brain cells trying to process how you managed to lose your whole army on a small rebal force

This is why you need to invest in cavalry so you can fully destroy armies

Initial battle was very annoying, spending a short amount of time deploying properly, will help you so much. Move those units away from the gate to deploy the cavalry there. Stick the archers on the walls. Use the light fast hobilars to flank and attack the ballista.

5:50 Swapping the "Finance" minister with the "India" minister might have been a good move - depends on their traits. I haven't seen Vulcan swap any ministers around or look at their traits all game, though.

The pause starting at 20:45 must have been because of a revolution in the Maratha Confederacy - note the flag change.
