I have the same unit. The results with the head are useless and disappointing. Although the sound is just for reference, I guess.

I don't see an 18/24 switch. If it's meant for 18 fps only, does the variable speed control have a wide enough range to speed it up to 24 fps?

I have this one and it does fine except the sound needs calibrated. Voices sound to high. Is there a way to calibrate? 🤔

Haha. I have an old Quasar telecine box too. I'll have to match it up with a 4K cam and see what it looks like. 😊 Great old demo!

I just pulled one of these Zoom 2500 Projectors out of a box. It has been stored away in my closet for the past 19 years.. Unfortunately, I don’t see the power cord anywhere in the box 😢. I see your video shows that it has an internal power supply. What type of cord should I be looking for as a replacement? Is there a technical name for the connector at the back of the projector? My father bought this, a long time ago, before he passed away. There is no instruction manual with it. The big box it was in is full of my family’s 8mm and Super 8mm movies..

At least my Eumig S820 sound projector is belt less so no maintenance needed. Maybe sometimes a bit of cleaning the lens and the film channel and that's it.

This is the first I've heard of the "CineCap Stop-Motion Capture" software. I converted my Sniper-16 to HD using my existing CineCap Velocity-HD software. I'd really like to know where you got your Custom Camera Mount with Right Angle Tube lens.

There are sections on here that are a little shaky. I bet it was the loading of the film or projector needs some maintenance and repair, but these telecines can come out really smooth. Here is a 16mm capture in high definition from an Eiki telecine and the image is super smooth and flicker free. You could even use a 4K camera. kzbin.info/www/bejne/fIaweoOsd85ric0
