Hi Shah, Afraid I don't know as I have not use a solar panel to charge it before. The Input is always a Direct Current (DC) Input so I reckon you must use a converter in the solar output to change it to the correct tip.

Hi I afraid I am not sure about 65w for the laptop BUT it does seems possible. Let me have a go later tonite and see how. As for 220v output, that is possible as I have connected a 220v table fan to it.

Thanks for this review! I just bought the böker-magnum field ranger Bowie, and I expect it to be delivered tomorrow...I especially look forward to checking out the lovely stacked leather handle. I already own the böker-magnum Sierra Delta Tanto, which has been a very tough, versatile & reliable knife, so I am hopeful that this knife won't be disappointing.

@@fangblade9388 I have had this ranger field Bowie knife for about six months now and it's a really well made knife, and that leather handle is excellent quality! The G10 used in the handle, instead of steel makes this much lighter weight than other knives of this design.

That's not Gear Aid's Dive knife ; their Dive knife is made of 304SS. The knife in your video is not designed for use in salt water.

Hi Ms. THere is a adapter that is in the box. In Malaysia, it is three pin wall plug (like UK) and it goes into the PowerStation. Go to min 8:05 to view ya. It take 24hrs to fully charge ya

HI, sure. After one year of using, I have problem with the Buckle slipping out of the frame. Due to the latch somehow is loose. One time, I dropped it in a carpark without me knowing. I have drive back to pick it up. To solve it, i wrap while plumber tape to the latch to so that when I clip the buckle back on, it stay fit. Nothing is loose

Well, I have jump started my truck fe times with a simple power bank jump starter. Smaller than this. Perhaps my truck battery this time is just too flat.

​@@fangblade9388your powerbank has a better battery than this one. powerbanks usually has lipo batteries which has higher discharge rate than the lead acid battery inside of this powerstation.

Thanks for making this video. I bought this model as my first power station from a camping shop in Putrajaya a year ago and so far its performance is quite disappointing. I get better mileage using an old motorcycle battery which can run LEDs the whole night while camping. I bought this so that I don't have to carry around my heavy Yamaha petrol powered generator set for camping. 😂

Well, gotta say I’m pretty sure all these thoughts about Ka Bar and Bowie strength are in general a big urban legend. The 440A steel is so good that I actually used this very knife as a prybar, a marking knife throwing it on the ground, the tip is still sharp, the edge razor sharp and the blade straight.

last i checked you're supposed to use a grip with your knife handle lol. Are you referring to the tang? all stacked handles (or most of them) will have a rat tail tang which isn't inherently weak, just not typically as strong as a full tang

Nice review and I eventually got here due to watching all of Paul Coakley's Junglecrafty videos (whatever happened to him if anyone knows?). I just wrote to MyParang as the links on their website to their European Distributor aren't working currently so I don't know what is going on there. I had always thought that Parang was the name for a certain style of Machete, I didn't know it was the Malay word for Machete so I guess that my mini Bear Grylls Gerber Parang must be a DUKU style version.

Ye. Memang betul. ini adalah kerana ia di "forge" (ketuk panas) dan "quench" (celup) pakai minyak untuk mengeraskannya. Dia orang "quench" hanya pada bilah tajam saja. Tulang belakang tak di "quench".

i had this "accidentally" i thought i bought the 15 in 1 tool instead of this, BUT this tool is amazing, everything u need for daily use. of course its to brittle for mechanic, or survivalist, this is for daily normal use, opening boxes, cut packages etcetera

Agreed. This is a lot cheaper than victorinox but the quality of built is on par. Knife size is OK for me as I do carry a "bigger" EDC folding knife with me sometimes or have one that i can access within 5min. 😀

THanks. Let me see, well I have using it almost everyday. The issue i had is the buckle CAN FALL OFF due to the latch becoming loose. In fact, I dropped the buckle once at a car park and had to return to pick it up. What I did after that is to put plumber tape around the latch to tighten it. Will made a video soon.

Excellent insider information here, thank you. My Parang seems to be an excellent operation based on the one blade I own, the Tangkin, so much so I already have the golok Perak on the way lol. Very cool to know more about the maker, there’s a whole culture of tool makers in Malaysia that we have no idea about in the US.

You are most welcome. Yes, MYParang is really good at what they do. In fact, I just gotten the Golok 125 from them. Looks really good apart from the hard wood handle. It seems a bit "sticky". Perhaps it is due to the varnish they used. Anyway, Malaysia used to have some respectable keris (wavy sword/dagger) maker. Those are the really good bladesmith but I think they are no longer around.

@@fangblade9388 there was definitely some oil in the plastic wrapper mine was shipped in, good for the blade, not so much for the handle maybe. I don’t recall the handle being sticky, seems like just a water based stain to me, but I put some feed n wax on the handle and it feels great. Im a pro guitar tech and amateur woodworker, I’ve used tru oil, mineral oil, boiled linseed, you name it, I find feed n wax wipes off the best and leaves the wood feeling natural, no extended drying time needed. I use it on all wooden handled tools (and guitar fretboards ;) ).

@@fangblade9388 just received my golok Perak, and the handle did indeed come sticky! A 20 minute application of feed n wax and a good wiping cleared it right up. The handle is carved a little wonky, a little disappointing since that’s what a lot of the cost is, but I’ll just reshape it if it bothers me enough, used it to trim some bamboo today and it worked like a champ as is.

@@NickWeissMusic Pardon my ignorance, what is "Feed n wax"? As for the shape, it is perfect for me. Just a little light as compare to the other wood handle. So you got the golok perak! I was comparing it with my Golor 125 and decided against it. Golok Perak seems to "tactical" like a Ka Bar USMC. Anyway, Bamboo eh..... that easy peasy for the parang. .
