How was Alan " too soft"? He would work himself literally almost to death while they were out doing drugs and drinking and partying. It was basically 3 against 1, he couldnt win. Plus he didn't want to be in his 40s in a pop group, his words.. He also wanted to have kids.. I wish Alan would come back, wont happen but we can wish can't we?

Always a great musician and a really nice man, we love you Alan. This is a very interesting interview. Never seen it before, or maybe it is the blurry video where Alan has a cold (poor lad), or is that a different video.

Always a consummate professional, he always handled himself well, you never saw him looking nervous, as many would have been. I never get tired of hearing him talk or looking at him. (He must have been approached by many "grupers") I love the way his hair is slicked back with wisps sexily draped over his forehead. Never seen a better looking man than him. He could have been with any woman he chose. ❤

love the leather pants both Alan and Dave are wearing, I normally don't like men in leather pants but Dave, Alan and Martin are one of the few men that can pull off wearing a pair of leather pants.

Fletch doing what he does best - talking utter rubbish. It showed very quickly that a band not even Depeche Mode can exist on just a singer, a writer of demos and a no mark who brings nothing creative to the band. They needed Alan Wilder (and I admit he needed Martins demos to polish and shine) but they treated him like dirt and what shocked me was the way they acted as if it was all his fault. In their minds Daves drug addiction, Martins excess alcohol intake and Fletcher doing nothing didn’t cause any problems!
