An unappreciated pro of long education hours and training centers is that there is ZERO teen crime, gangs, drug use, hooliganism, vandalism, etc. No time for it if you’re always in school

Nike has nothing on Anta and they’re not alike either 😂 - I’ve seen the reviews. Li-Ning is a better comparison imo but you still get more tech with Li-Ning for your buck generally speaking

I love and agree with your thought about 'just because we are not familiar with these Chinese fashion brands does not mean that they are lousy or cheap'. In fact, if you think about it, China was among the world's first source of luxury through the Silk Road. For many centuries, Silk was only produced in China but the Romans got so crazy about it and they spent so much of their wealth (much to the annoyance of the ruling elites) that they had to send people to steal the secrets of silk making in order to stem the bleeding of the national treasury. Pity there was no 'intellectual property' rights and laws then to protect China and its unique products such as tea which was also stolen by the British to be transplanted in India and Sri Lanka.

The Yellow store gives me Five Below vibes… definitely geared for the younger crowd. I’m blown away with the presentation, in the states things tend to look picked over and rummaged through.

Lotus (formerly Tesco) is very common in Thailand when i visited. Not sure if Chinese Lotus is related as the signage looks different. Always interesting to see the product range and prices in Chinese supermarkets.
@guangjoe29 күн бұрын
Same conglomerate at the top I believe yeah - signage is different but it’s the same big guys at the top. Like how Asda is Walmart.
