I hope you can do better. Great premise, poor delivery. I was left with, Are you kidding me moment. You literally and intentionally left out the car itself. Fail.

......so let's see the "car"; the discussion between these two individuals should have been audio only while the "car" was being featured for the 18+ minutes of talk.

What an incredible car, and coupled with your presentation of the history of a unique and amazing woman, makes this by far the best video I’ve seen of this genre. Congratulations, and thank you!

Those Packard Automobiles were some of the finest and elegant ever produced as far as I am concerned, my Beloved cousin had A 1939 Four door Packard Convertible, he kept the car through the Second World War, the Korean War, and even through the Conflict in Vietnam, he became very ill and his Beloved Wife became ill as well and their daughters made the decision to sell it went on to Pebble Beach and went on to A family that could enjoy and restore it to its former glory, the Empress lives own.

Fantastic info. Loved the video! Recently saw a 1930 Packard. I have a video of it. The car sparkled like a Diamond. Very elegant automobiles.

Not only a great rare car, but, the story is incredible. What a woman. She had them.

I wanted to hear what was being said ! Background music was far too loud and unnecessary. Thank God for people like these who are willing to spend the money and have the passion to preserve these wonderful pieces of automotive history !! My heartfelt thanks to the owners and restoration specialists !!!

I assumed it was Rene Lalique! Wowee! A Polar Bear. The car! Granddaddy drove fabulous Packards, a Texas Oil and Gas man he loved Packard and had some great cars including the renowned 53 Caribbean! ❤. Neat lady neat car

There's so much elegance to these early Packard's. I am fortunate to have picked up two rolling chassis in Utah recently, a 640 Super 8 & a 745 & I intend to build a speedster.

Thank you for the feedback! We will explore each car and its unique place in history. Some of that will involve the owners of the car, like Louise Arner Boyd here, and some of the series will focus more on the "nuts and bolts" of the car itself. We hope that you enjoy the series!

This Hispano Suiza belonged to the late Erich Haller from Muttenz/Basel Switzerland. It was before fallen from a Lorry and Erich was able to buy it from the insurance and restored it together with the old craftsmen from Basel Coachbuilder Köng. In 1999 it was finished and I was able to drive it back in August 1999. later we saw Hallers at Villa d‘Este with it and on most of the prestigious Concours‘es! Plus: Mr. Haller‘s even fabulous Mk VI Bentley, coachbuilt by Mulliner in black and green with red leather interior is now part of the Bentley works collection at Crewe, England.

Hispano Suiza started in 1901 in Barcelona, Spain and built cars, trucks and buses. They did not make any aircraft engines until WWI in 1914. For the war, they developed a massive V-8 engine, (not a V-12) of 18.5 Liters. There was also a 12.5-Liter version. The H6(B,C) model was developed in 1919 and was heavily influenced by the V-8 aero engine but not a direct copy. The H6 was 6.5 Liter, 6-cylinder so a completely different block, crankshaft and crankcase design from the aero engine. This car was a Hibbard & Darrin coach but was much more conventionally 1920s in look up to the 1980s when someone "restored" the car to look as it does now.

The very first one I saw was in 1957's auto show. The one I saw was dark blue. The stainless steel top just shown in contrast along with the quarter panel cover. The floor carpet pile seemed to be an inch thick was dark blue also. After seeing the sticker price, i turned to my friend and said, "Any one paying over $13,000 for a car is crazy!". If I only knew.
