I just changed out my low beam headlight bulbs on my 2020 Ford Expedition XLT this morning. About the only tools used were the 7/32 socket and a flashlight. I did also invest in latex gloves for the sake of the bulbs. As a suggestion, turn the wheel that you are working on all the way inward in the front. I know, obvious right. The first bulb took maybe 15 minutes and the 2nd bulb around half of that time. I did subtract the time it took to go exchange the bulbs. A lot of places on the internet quoted an H11 for my 2020 Ford Expedition XLT for the correct replacement for the low beams. The prong spread was different on the H11. After more investigation on the internet, I finally found where the Alla Lighting page recommended replacement with "(Stock Bulb#: HB3/9005), for the vehicle with halogen capsule headlamps" and that worked perfectly. Also, I followed the replacement procedure via Alla Lighting KZbin video all along the way while replacing both low beam bulbs. THANK YOU Alla Lighting!! (PS: I started to do the bulb replacement by removing grille and headlights. It can be done on the F-150 but nearly impossible for the average DIY person on the Expy)

Are they Ok with the relay as I installed some other company LED lights so turn signal was very quick turning on off and the brake light was just working on brake not the switch on tail light , so did I boght some not compatible LED lights or the Ford Ecosport 2016 not work with LED and just work on standard bulbs ?

For those looking to do this upgrade, know that using a T-tap connector is not the best way to go. I tried it first with a T-tap and the connection was so poor that the LED light didn't come on. Not to mention this also mean that the ballast was still pulling power unnecessarily. If you are making this upgrade yourself, just cut the ballast wires off completely and use some butt crimp connectors with heat shrink. That will give a more than strong enough connection and will make your install easier not having to deal with the wires being joined to the ballast still. Of note, I DID have to shave off part of the LED housing plastic in order to have enough room to close up the light enclosure. In order to get the LED bulb seated correctly for the LEFT headlight, the LED had to be positioned straight up and down in a way that made it interfere with the dust cap. In the end with a little modification and basic electrical ability, this was a great install/upgrade. Now my lights don't flicker out and are SUPER bright compared to the HID bulbs. I have an 06 Prius

Good afternoon! I have the same car with halogen lamps. But it was easier for me to use the lift and remove the wheels. In my opinion, it is more convenient and less likely to accidentally damage the lamp during installation. I have supplied Optima Light diode lamps with an H4 base, with a power of 80 watts. The low beam and high beam have become very powerful. Next, the Billed modules were installed. The light has become even brighter and more powerful than even the laser headlights on Audi and Mercedes. Sincerely from Russia.

not quite a far test. You should have gotten bulbs with all the same kelvin color temperature if you are measuring LUX. As between 5000k -6000k light will produce the highest LUX value. Anything higher or lower will reduce its luminous flux(LUX). Thats why if you get a the same wattage 3500k warm yellow and a 5500k daylight. The daylight will appear brighter as the whiter light will reflect off other surfaces better. But if you had a LUMENS tester the light output would be the same. LUX is what we visually perceive as brighter. So in order to have an actual fair comparison between the bulbs they should all be of the same kelvin temperature. As 7500+Kelvin on the HID almost is close to Blue 8000k. Which blue as everyone knows isn't as bright a color as white. Next time do your homework before you try and to do an accurate test. Even though all your comparison results were invalid between the lights you tested. You could use those values if you were to test with a 7800k LED to the 7800k HID tested. And a 5000k HID to the 5000k LED tested. If you were to use a LUX tester. OR you could just get a LUMENS tester that will tell you the actual light regardless of color temperature as to what we perceive is brighter.

I didn't have this issue with my 17 malibu, why does this happen on my 22 equinox? I know you say it in this video, but would have been good to know at the time of purchase cause now my tailgate is apart, wasn't so easy to get apart, and now I've wasted an hour and don't even have the bulbs working.
