I think VS2 is the better v-skill overall for a new Poison player and veteran in general. Getting the v-skill alone was singlehandedly her biggest buff as a character, it ties up all the loose ends in her kit and gives her utility that VS1 cannot compare to. That being said, VS1 does have some interesting uses and damaging routes, but I'd still only consider it a match up specific v skill at best and encourage someone to dominantly get used to VS2. We might be seeing pro Poison players experiment with VS1 more often, so we can see if there will be promise in using it for the strengths it can bring.

You can use amy whip as your whip strength to cancel with. LP makes sure they have to hold down back, while MP is a little bit more damage and doesn't move Poison back as much, so if you score a counter hit in close range it'll be more possible to get a conversion. HP whip can be used if you think they might want to jump out of the pressure at any point and you can release it on reaction. Most people, on both controller /pad and stick / hitbox, tend to use LK as the kick button to cancel their stance.

Yes, Ed has a V Skill 2, it is shown at 6:30. It is certainly not bad, it is one of the best v skills in the game for answering projectiles, and is still usable in Ed's combos / juggles outside of it. The rewards aren't as great as v-skill 1, which is why I recommend sticking to V-Skill 1 if your opponent does not have projectiles, but certainly V-Skill 2 is good at going over fireballs like it was designed to do

Yes, Kara flicker is still possible after the most recent patch. As you can see with my inputs, I'm able to input the 3 follow up punches needed to execute Flicker quick enough before st.lp's recovery ends, so that it ends up cancelling the whiff into the flicker. You have to execute the inputs quick enough and make use of the medium and punch buttons to get the three punches out after the whiff st.lp in the time frame.

For the 2 bar VT1 combo? Make sure the first molotov you are doing is the backwards molotov throw (holding back+HP+HK), and you can buffer your M avant as the molotov going off to make sure it comes out asap, which you then cancel into a normal molotov throw (HP+HK) into the ex avant after.
