Ja, bei der Aufnahme war der letzte Betriebssommer am Juli 2022. In der Sommersaison 2023 stand der Lift bereits still.

My 2nd all-time favourite ropeway. I daydreamed so much in the past of this chairlift running alongside the Combe des Juments chairlift of La Clusaz which is my all-time number 1 favourite ropeway. Thankfully Combe des Juments won't be replaced for a few years from now I suspect? But as for Bellwald what I can most certainly say is that the Doppelmayr-Garaventa group are nothing but monopolistic totalitarian c*nts that should be killed for lobbying the EU and the Schweizer Bundesamt fuer Verkehr into imposing tons of strict safety, capacity and comfort standards that have no reason to be there at all. I don't give a turd about capacity and comfort, not one bit. Every old ropeway I've ever ridden, I've been F***ING HAPPY to do so. Fun fact lol, the ropeway I grew up with, was the first ever gondola lift from Poma in Val D'Isere (La Daille, 1966 - 2018), I was happy every time I ever rode it, it was a bloody fairground ride to me, not public transport, as is it also a mechanical work of art instead of a method of public transport! IT DIDN'T EVEN STOP ONCE EITHER EVERY TIME I EVER RODE IT. All old ropeways are properly, locally and individually produced ropeways, and they are mechanical works of art that need to be preserved OUTSIDE of ski resorts so that people can still enjoy the old ropeways for many more years if not forever. Ski resorts are nothing but industrialized places of ropeway murder and destruction these days, all in favour of a quadropoly, and I will never ever ski in Bellwald ever again. Not as long as I can't go back in time and not only stop modern ropeways from ever existing, but also PUT THE MANUFACTURERS OUT OF COMMISSION BEFORE THEY EVER GET A CHANCE TO MONOPOLIZE. Changing the past will probably never happen because it is currently impossible but if I ever get the chance to do so then modern ropeways WILL BE NO F***ING MORE. I am glad that I got to see Bellwald one more time in 2022 before it was ruined but I'd rather modern 6-CLD's stopped spreading years ago and if modern 10-MGD's never existed. Don't get me started on modern 10-MGD's... they are the worst of the freaking worst. Old Giovanola/Von Roll/Poma type S ropeways and all other old ropeway systems are the best of the best ha ha...

Perhaps the nicest Von Roll CLF out there. The only good thing about it being replaced is that the replacement is another 2-CLF. Either way though, the only place where Doppelmayr-Garaventa belong is the darkest depth of hell itself. They deserve to suffer for all of the destruction that they and the other 3 evil global ropeway companies have forced against the older and far better built ropeways...

Lange Warteschlangen gibt es meines Wissens an der Bahn nur selten. Liegt nebst der Fahrzeit von 10 Min auch daran das die Bergstation so platziert ist, dass man Richtung Abfahrt schieben muss.

In der Beschreibung steht die letzte Stütze sei 39m hoch, das ist dritte Stütze die mit 39m die höchste ist.

This is just the normal operating speed with 5 m/s. But it's indeed very fast for such a small size.

Ich suche noch genauere technische Details zu der Gondel. Könnt ihr mir da weiterhelfen. Ganz wichtig wäre die Breite zu wissen.

Leider liegen mir keine Informationenen zur Grösse bei der Kabine vor. Aber soweit ich weiss hat das Seilbahnmuseum in Kandersteg noch eine der beiden Kabinen. Eventuell lohnt es sich, dort mal nachzufragen. Oder sonst bei den Stockhornbahnen.
