I understand HC, and it's challenge but HC should've never made it's way past the 1-60 grind. HC players are some of the most skilled players, don't get me wrong - but this type of shit shouldn't constitute starting over from the very beginning. That being said, I find grief videos highly entertainin... and comical. I know that's an asshole take on it, but video games aren't designed to play through the entirety without dying.

Wow is just a game with too many variables outside of the individual players control. Which is not a good game for a hardcore experience... This is coming from someone who LOVES hardcore experiences in many games. . Did a quest pvp flag you without telling you it was going to do so and a rogue was waiting right there to kill you the moment it did? Did 15 enemies just randomly spawn on top of you at the exact same time? Did you miss/get resisted on a major cooldown that was going to make the difference between life and death? Did you take a mislabeled quest that claimed to be your level, but actually had you fighting elites 5 levels over you? And then obviously what we saw here, group content is a whole nother beast with a whole list of variables added in that you as the player have zero control over... . I genuinely have no idea why anyone would want to play HC wow. I thought it was just a ploy for streamers to have endless content. But people actually choose to play on HC servers. It's wild to me.

@@VegetoStevieD Yes, most challenge runs of any game require knowledge of the game... I'm simply saying that WoW, or any mmo for that matter, are terrible hardcore experiences. There are too many unavoidable variables that the player has zero control over. It's more a test of persistence than anything. That's why there are so many lvl 60's backpeddling around clicking their abilities with no clue how to play their class.

@@VegetoStevieD Except next time when you jump twice, the server is going to lag and you are going to lose your HC character to server lag. . The concept you are talking about of remembering to jump twice requires the challenge and solution to be consistent. This is how single player games are. These are the types of games I love hardcore experiences in. Because in those games, after you learn to jump twice, jumping twice works every time. You are CONSISTENTLY rewarded for learning and executing what you learned. WoW is not consistent. You can do the right thing, and still fail. And vice versa, you can do the wrong things and still succeed. And that's what makes it a terrible hardcore experience for me and a lot of other rational folks.
