If you set telem to Race, it gives telem until you arm it. Then it shuts it down, on my version anyways. Good VIdeo
@professorbiohazard42713 күн бұрын
Yeah, I've since changed to Race telemetry on my race model. I like getting confirmation that it connected on the radio, then having it go away once i arm. I might disable the verbal alarms on the model profile though so i don't have to hear it

You flying 0702 out side , I find the 0802 25000kv very suitable for outside whooping 🎉
@professorbiohazard42716 күн бұрын
On 65mm I fly 0702 that are higher kv. The motors being lighter means there's less weight so yaw washout doesn't happen as easily and higher kv means you don't get as much propwash. I don't have separate builds for inside or outside. For a 75mm whoop the larger 0802 motors work better. The added size gives more torque to spin the larger props, and with larger props comes more thrust so a higher kv isn't as important.

THANKS!!! They are great motors, but i'm really excited for the new snowblowers. they apparently are even lighter and have a keyed motor shaft that can't spin ever. will have to give them a try eventually

What are stick ends and stick length on that pocket? Are You using gimbal spacers?
@professorbiohazard427113 күн бұрын
I took the longest M3 screws I had, cut the tops off. Then used nuts to control how far into the gimbals they screwed in as well as how high the sick ends sit. I do have gimbal spacers to drop the gimbals down in the radio a little. Stick ends I'm using are the thumb grippies Deimos deep dish in webleed red. Great stick ends if you thumb

While it's not helpful to everyone, it was a feature I just found out about after 2 years of using ELRS. So I figured some other people would benefit from it.
@professorbiohazard427119 күн бұрын
Minor update. After doing some reading if you're using a Gemini x module or radio with a non Gemini or Gemini x receiver, you should set the antenna mode to either antenna 1, 2 or switch. That makes sure the second antenna isn't transmitting and causing noise that will reduce your range.
