I think that VLC is that so much people just download like videos to make ytps or KZbin poops cuz it could be that KZbin is noticing that they want pay for premium but people they want download them for free so I’m guessing is that there trying added a blocking code that pervents people streaming videos on its site like for example there these people on GitHub trying do Lua that fixes the im there trying perverting them trying downloading videos I’m guessing there looking at us are videos KZbin I’m guessing that what’s I guess we shouldn’t be uploading about lua cuz the KZbin team is seeing I’m guessing go to another like rumble so they can’t look at what people trying fix the problem

Hi, I have a I7 3770 processor that should have 4 cores 8 threads, but my CPUZ only shows it to have 2 cores and 4 threads, any ideas why. Thanks.

Hey, thanks so much for the comment and for watchign the video!! So yeah, your i7-3770 should definitely show 4 cores and 8 threads, so if CPU-Z only shows 2 cores and 4 threads, it could be a few things, I would try some of this to start: In Task Manager go to, Performance/CPU and look at the bottom, see if it shows the 4 cores/8 threads. If it shows ok here, CPU-Z is probably just midreporting and you have nothing to worry about. If it also misreports here, try these: Check your BIOS settings to make sure all cores are enabled (look for 'Active Processor Cores'). In Windows, go to msconfig > Boot > Advanced Options and make sure 'Number of processors' isn’t limited. Update your BIOS and chipset drivers, as outdated firmware can cause misreporting. If none of that works, try reseating the CPU or testing it in another system to rule out hardware issues. Hope this helps!"

@@SamHayden Hi, thanks for answering but I just found the problem after 6 years of complaining how slow this I7 was compared to my old Core 2 Duo. In the bios under advanced, CPU config is a tab with showing 4 cores and a box with a tick in it and 4 ticked, this is wrong and the box should be unticked because ticking the 4 meant to only use core 4. Now it is much better.

When you run a backup on a schedule, does it overwrite what has already been backed up, just overwrite what files have been changed, or does it allow for versioning?

Great question! In FBackup, if you’re using the default Mirror backup, it will only back up new or changed files each time, overwriting the previous versions without keeping older copies (so no versioning). If you choose Full backup, it’ll create a new copy of everything each time, so you’ll end up with multiple versions but at the cost of more storage space. For true versioning with incremental or differential backups, you’d need the paid version, Backup4all. Hope this helps!

Just wondering after you have change the default settings, saved & then reboot. Would the settings remain if you do a Windows update? From what I heard, the settings will revert back to the original.

Hi thanks for the comment, its a good question, the answer is no, after a Windows update the settings will NOT revert back to the original. As it so happens, the PC that I did this on to make this video needed updates 2 days ago. I did the updates and just now checked all of these settings are they are not reverted back. Now if you were to reinstall windows for some reason, then yes most likley they would revert back, but not with just windows updates. Thank you again for the comment and thanks for watching!!

There is a setting in this by tweaking it , network usage shows 0% but on clicking on network tab it shows , what setting it could be, probably it is somewhat related to diagnostic something in service manager ?

Thanks for the comment! It sounds like you’re seeing 0% network usage on one display, but details show up under the network tab. It could be tied to a diagnostic or telemetry service. Try checking if Diagnostic Policy or Connected User Experiences and Telemetry are disabled in the Services manager, as they can sometimes affect how network data is shown. Other than that I am not sure, maybe you found a bug of some type lol

is there a way where I can save the videos in PotPlayer for editing? VLC had the codec information you could just copy and paste into a browser and was able to download whatever it was to your system.

Definitely earned a sub from me because I wanted to get back into editing again and I was pretty bummed out when I went into VLC media player and was encountering this error message trying to grab a few clips to use. I will for sure be checking in on this channel regularly for updates and stuff but for now Imma use these alternatives :)

Thanks for watching! I have a 3-monitor setup myself and haven’t run into this issue with VLC, so it might be something in the settings to look into under Capture Device options. If nothing fixes it, I’d suggest trying OBS, which has more control for multi-monitor setups. You get a 403 error, which means the user dont have permissions to open the youtube video, so maybe cant be solved with a new youtube file in vlc. I get this error in vlc log "access error: HTTP 403 error http debug: connection failed main debug: no access modules matched main debug: dead input"

so how do I see the health percentage that shows? it just says "good" but it's not showing the %

"Hey! CrystalDiskInfo showing just 'Good' without a percentage likely means the drive doesn't report specific health percentages in its SMART data. You can try checking Function > Advanced Feature > Raw Values in the settings to see if that helps display more info, but if nothing shows up, it's probably just that your drive doesn’t support that detailed reporting. If it says 'Good,' though, you’re all set-nothing to worry about!"

@@shandoWolter Hey, thanks for watching the video! Yes, you can change the MHz (speed) of your RAM, but it depends on your motherboard and whether your RAM supports it. You’ll need to go into the BIOS/UEFI settings on your computer and look for an option called XMP (Extreme Memory Profile). If your RAM supports XMP, you can enable it to run at a higher speed. Just be careful-make sure your motherboard and CPU can handle the change to avoid stability issues. I have a video on this: kzbin.info/www/bejne/ipy6aJypjMl9iM0 Hope that helps!

@@shandoWolter You shouldn't be looking for MHz, look for XMP profile. What exactly are you trying to do, you said change the MHz, but what do yo mean, are you trying to lower it, higher it, or manually set it? Again this will be if your RAM supports it, but if you are trying to increase it, you are looking for thre XMP profile in BIOS, if yo do not see it, your board and/or RAM may not support it

How do you convert the text file to LUA? the URL linked dles a text file that does not look like the file being used in the video.

The LUA file doesn't need to be converted. The file just gets placed in a directory as shown in the video. However, please note that as stated in the description, this fix will not work right now. I have other videos explaining the current situation. Thanks!

what if you right click the video, there's a sterio option, they are original, mono, sterio and headphones. i do have headphones but people say that's a bad setting and "original" is apparently surround sound?, it be nice to have an explanation of what it all does, I have a lot of cores so I set that to 12 and not 2 , but if 0 is automatic, wouldn't it use as many as it wants?

Hi thanks for commenting, sorry it is not workign for you! The only times I have seen this not work is if the entries into the hosts file is not correct and if you do not have privs to edit the host. If that is the case you could runb the command proimpt in admoin mode. I suggest double checking the entry and run in admin mode. Additionally in the host file entry, did you remove the "#" at the beginning of the line before saving the file?

i guess I am just stupid. I have had such a hard time following along, having to pause and re-watch constantly. Now I'm at the point where you saty to uninstall VLC using something that's supposed to pop up? Well nothing did. I kept clicking on the screen with nothing happening. I didn't see any links below showing the program you recommend for the uninstall. So I'm completely frustrated and feel totally inept and stupid.

Hi, no need to feel stupid, sometimes videos can be hard to follow, I have had my share of tutorials I couldnt follow or had a hard time following, so no worries. So in this video there is nothing about uninstalling VLC, you may be thinking of one of my other videos on this. This video here only shows you how to replace the LUA file. Either way if you take a look at the description of this video, it will explain that right now, due to an issue with KZbin and the latest LUA file, this fix will not work right now. I have other videos explaining this as well. So do not even try to fix the issue right now as it is not working until someone comes up with a working LUA file.

@@SamHayden I know it doesn't cover that, I watched it. But I found out of all the methods, one of them actually works. The rest did not. Even the command line did not. Still there are 2 other accounts I have which are not used but I'm satisfied for now that I could easily delete one administrator account. The login always defaults to a bogus account which is not even listed. So I still have work to do.
