Il problema non è tanto di voce, ma di significato. Nell'intro nuova il professore "ignorava lo scopo delle sue ricerche", mentre in quello vecchio "ignorava di essere sul punto di raggiungere lo scopo". Cambia totalmente senso a 180 gradi. Inoltre poco dopo, Alfred sente un ululato, si gira e vede un gruppo di lupi inseguire la slitta, nella versione vecchia dice "Lupi!", in quella nuova dice "Wolf!". Credo che il nuovo curatore abbia creduto fosse un singulto, o un "verso" per non aver tenuto la traduzione. L'unica cos che posso pensare è che lui stesse studiando il vampirismo, ma che non ritenesse una minaccia i vampiri, e che quindi la sua esperienza e gli studi non erano finalizzati alla loro eliminazione.

Landis was great with comedies but isnt meant for horror, Carpenter is great for horror because I loved Halloween, The Fog and The Thing but I never liked Cronenbergs stuff his whole body horror thing never appealed to me

Landis created the most terrible horror ever committed to film when his direction killed 3 actors, including 2 illegally employed children, on the set of The Twilight Zone: The Movie. It's not an 'accident' when you fly a helicopter at close quarters to multiple pyrotechnics and to helplessly situated actors. It's the 'dangerous driving' equivalent of filmmaking.

Questa è la versione che vidi in cassetta in Video2000 nel 1987. La caratteristica è anche la musica leggermente accelerata rispetto alla versione con i titoli in inglese. Peccato per l'audio che alterna versione mono e versione stereo.
