I first heard the sound of this song when I was about 10 years old. I type this as a 27 year old woman now. As a child I could feel the depth of this song’s lyrics, especially as I read the words, but I couldn’t fully get the meaning being a kid and all once upon a time. Here I am now in the middle of what it is to become an adult woman in a post Covid world. So much has taken place and so much continues to go on.. and yet this is one the songs, one of the videos, I continue to come back to year after year to keep me hanging on. Thank you, truly.

I have this song tattooed on my leg …. Script style if you are curious. For I have climbed that mountain , I have slayed the beast , and I got the princess , and I rescued her on the back of my horse and indeed. I traveled so very far to do so. Traveling all the way from northern Canada down to the southern field , into the Midwest of America , all the way a crossed the country , all the way down south and west through the dessert I road and kept going. . . And behold a mighty mountain …. And that’s where the beast and my process layed and there I met my conquest … and tho the beast fought well , I did indeed, like Mario / saved the princess from her dungeon castle and we road of into the sunset and the desert and we lived …. HAPPILY EVER AFTER. AND YES THST ROAD HAS ITS OWN TAIL ALSO. BUT HERE WE ARE 1100 fortnight later , and yet again we wake for another morrow. :) I love my wife man ;) she was worth it
