My grandfather was in the navy during ww2. His ship was in the Mediterranean just after the invasion of Sicily, it was the late afternoon, they had just served chow, and they decided to let the men go swimming. My grandfather jumped in just to cool off, and started swimming back to the ladder, and as he was swimming he said he hit his foot on some rocks as he was swimming back, and got worried they were in danger of someone jumping onto the area or worse, the ship getting stuck. So he told his co when he was back aboard, the guy stopped other people from jumping in, and as the sun was almost fully down, just as this was happening they turned on the ships lights, (the men had been swimming in the shadow of the ship) and they saw hundreds and hundreds of sharks. They told the rest of the men to get out, no one got hurt. Turns out they were dumping all the leftovers off of the other side of the ship as the men started to go swimming. They were also no where near any low depth areas w rocks.

Yea, it really is. She could’ve used that as an excuse to give up and not play, but instead she’s a professional soccer player. A job many of us would love to have.
