According to the rule book, when Gertie was at the forest clearing and dropped off the wild item, the mothership moves one space for each device die in the forest clearing. That should have been the winning turn. 👍👍

While I understand the concerns over AI- generated art, it's not really accurate to say that any of the AI art is stolen. I believe I'm correct in saying that every generated artwork, is generated from many thousands of existing art pieces. But, the resulting generated art is created by an AI-driven algorithm that mashes those many thousands of influencing artworks through the algorithm and attempts to create a new artwork that matches the decription that the person using the AI typed in. Really, removing emotion for a second, that is exactly what any artist does. Nothing is unique or new anymore. By the way, I know this to be the case because of the errors that end up in results of the AI generators I've used. Cars buried in the sides of buildings for instance. The algorithm most definitely does not pick an artist's work from a database and just use it. Copyright laws would see them in court in a heartbeat.

I don't get the following though: At 37:59 it specifically says you must reveal yourself as a deadite if you: Attack another play So how can it be that I attack another player as an "unidentified" deadite, lying about his corruptions cards if I win the fight? Doesn't makes sense to me, other then that great video!

Played this with my nieces (4 and 7 years old) today and the instructions is very hard to understand. I basically made up the rules as we went, but seeing this video made this board game way funnier and interesting, so thank you!

Thanks for an excellent review. Together, you gave me a good feel for the best and worst of this game. I'm a board game player who used to play video games. I've played several of the classic old-style video games in this category, including Rogue 3.6 that came with Unix in 1981, Hack, Nethack and Larn. I've looked at reviews of many bardgame roguelikes. I think it's hard to make a roguelike board game that can hold people's interest for long. This game looks like the best try I have seen, so I'm thinking about buying it. Given your review, I'll know what I'm getting into. Thanks! -toby

Keep the Heroes out has production value of the charts. Those meeples look like Root sized on most of promotional graphics, but those are MUCH larger. They add presence to the table and are instantly recognizable. I wish more games had 1vsMany mode like KtHo: GM Revenge - it has this Descent 2ed vibes to it.

The rules state that if you were to enter a space with Michael Myers and he is not staggered, you say stop and get a free attack. How do you play this if he is staggered? Can move through the space freely and/or end up in the same space? Or maybe he still says stop, but doesn't get the free attack? Seems like a situation for a house rule.

It looks like the difference between New and Old Healer Cat was to give New Cat a less potent but guaranteed heal vs Old Healer Cat could miss their heal and waste the ability.

The flags mark out the boundaries for each player to determine if your shot is “in play”. You mentioned that you weren’t sure if the og came witha treasure chamber. The treasure chamber is on the plastic playmat. You put a tower over it, you need to knock over the tower then land a shot on the treasure chamber.

'Tis a huge downgrade from the Fantasy Flight version goodness me. One to avoid if you have the Revised 4th edition, which IMO is best due to the expansion boards too which offer a fully experience when adventuring.

I was wondering can you trade personal items if the traspassers are in the same space with the swap action? Do traspassers draw from the deperation deck on their turn or only when the panic meter reaches a one time draw of the desperation card? Last, how many cards can the Sawyer's play on their turn, if so do they require fear to play additional of there's a limit number of card to play?
