I just did the same job with a little Hyundai as it bent the end of the chassis leg over and put a bad crease in it ,was much easier to cut another one off and weld it in place than try and get the old leg pulled out and straightened to the right length once the metal has shrunk .

hi. i purchased new seat belt. but it is not pulling out by hand force because it got stuck. will belt be pulled out when power cable is connected?

Looks good, but you don't want to put tape around it unless you absolutely have to.

You don't need the tool, just get your thumbnail between the dash and the silver part. Work your nail around.
