Yeah, it’s very difficult to prioritize.. 😕 I had this problem last year. I would study a lot for the classes I thought were “harder” and more important, that I actually got a worse grade in the easier classes than the hard ones. I enjoyed studying more for classes I liked and the ones that I felt I needed more practice on. I studied the reading and writing part a lot for the first time I took the SAT (my highest Ela score)… I studied for 3 days straight (I skipped school lol) just Princeton review English questions only, blue book English, and Kahn academy. Kahn academy helps the most but not many questions. The last time I took the SAT I did Erica meltzer. The Erica meltzer questions are easier than the dSAT though so keep that in mind. If you don’t already know all the grammar rules, that’s a great place to start. Grammar wins you the quickest easiest points. Vocab is hardest though.

Thank you 😭… my score wasn’t the best, but here’s some things I found useful… Knowing the ACT English grammar rules are really important. Sometimes you can just guess the answer based on what sounds right, but to confidentially get 30+, I think being able to verify it with grammar rules is important. ACT reading and science sections for me is very variable. I think my score for those are more reflected by how I felt on test day (like getting enough sleep) than how much I actually knew. There’s barely any time, so make sure you lock in… hahaha 🔐 I can’t really say for math since I didn’t find it too hard, but just remember to pace yourself. I spent a lot of time double checking my work that I was almost out of time on the second ACT math. Sorry if this wasn’t that helpful lol… the whole thing felt like a fever dream tbh.. @hak.eber7
@hak.eber7 3 ай бұрын
Thank you for your kind words. 😊 Your course selection is also commendable. For chemistry and calc AB, I would recommend doing lots of practice questions. Usually the mistakes I see people get in exams are silly mistakes that could be avoided by practice. JG the organic chemistry tutor is amazing for anything math and science related. For Ap world, just actively paying attention in class is enough imo. I used to record my teachers lectures and listen to them in my free time. For AP bio, my teacher didn’t really teach so I learned best by copying the note slides he posted and googling things if I didn’t understand in the notes like the diagrams and stuff… Making sure you understand where everything fits in the bigger picture is important. Active recall for Ap bio helped a lot… like pretend you are teaching someone (I used a stuffed animal) and recite the information out loud. I wish you luck this coming year! 🍀👍

gosh I don't know who you are but I am SO proud of you! Did you buy like ap guide books or used any resources. I didn't take any at my freshman year but I am taking three this year: AP Seminar, Gov and AP Psych. Do you have any recommendations. Its so crazy how you got 5 at AP chem. I hope my mom never sees you in youtube or else I am cooked 😓😓😓😓

Thank you! ❤️🫶 I didn’t buy prep books/resources until the month before the exams. I found the Princeton review series to be helpful (mostly for physics), but I’m not sure how it is for the classes you are going to take. It didn’t help for chem so I guess it differs on class/person. @TheOrganicChemistryTutor was just especially helpful, but it probably won’t help you in the classes you mentioned. If you take any math or science, I would highly recommend his videos. I could not have gotten a 5 in physics without the subscription. 👍 Thank you for your comment and kind words, I wish you the best this next school year! 🍀☺️

I got a 4! 😅. Honestly not too mad cause it was a wake up call to my dad that I suck at CSA. He wanted me to do some more CSA courses and stuff but I hate CS LOL! 🤣 he gave up a little after I got a 4.

@@FrFrost-q9b I feel like the curve is harder on Csp and csa. A 4 is a good score you should be proud of! 👍
