On a positive note for the online experience, I appreciate that I have never felt as if my connection to the game was affected by another player. Also if you lose connection, the game will just check or fold for you until you can reconnect. This is unlike player vs player games where you can be glitched out and get a loss.

You can play ranked games where people don't go all in everytime, and rank your way up and see where you are in the total ranked players list which has about 10,000 players listed maybe more, its free , and fun, one of the only two games I play on my ps4, well worth downloading. The other game is rainbow six siege as the strategies are good on that game... DOWNLOAD IT!!! Sometimes i think the hands it gives players is rigged a little to make the game more interesting, like two players both getting pairs on the first deal at the start of the game, not sure on checking the probability of that happening.

congrats on beating the nameless king, i got him on my second try ^^ the thing with PvP is, right now there are mostly experienced players playing the game and especially in PvP so don't be disappointed if you loose a lot, try doing it again when the dlc comes out ^^ also you can still pick up an item on Ludleths corpse and there is still an titanite slab underneath the nameless kings arena (where you found the dragonslayer armor)

Awesome series, Pete. I really enjoyed watching. If you want to check out other titles, there are a total of five: Demon's Souls, Dark Souls, Dark Souls II, Bloodborne and Dark Souls III. If you're playing on Xbox, you probably have Dark Souls as an add-on, so that's your cheapest new adventure and it's an awesome game. Bloodborne is also an excellent game but is a PS4 exclusive and Demon's Souls is only available on PS3. I believe you missed a slab in the empty arena after killing The Nameless King. That's definitely worth going back to pick up. As for PvP, it's a different skill from PvE. If you don't PvP, you won't be good at it, and trying to PvP with a longsword would require A LOT of PvP experience due to the weapon's lack of reach. If it makes you feel any better, despite being able to beat the game at SL1 I'm absolutely terrible at PvP. I made kind of a silly PvP video a long time ago (I believe it's the first time I had an intro in one of my videos), but I think some of the things I talk about in the first few minutes might help you get started. It was way too long and certainly isn't worth watching past 5 minutes, but I switch up my gear, talk about why I'm doing so and perhaps my scrubby-ness would give you some tips for your PvP video. I think the best advice I can give on PvP is to not get salty. The players you're fighting pretty much JUST do PvP, so they're going to be a lot better at it. You've got a ton of raw skill and as a first PT, you want your videos to capture a lot of gameplay, so "edit more" is kind of silly advice. "Be more timely" is decent, though. This PT would have received more views AND generated more subs if you didn't wrap up the playthrough 6 months after release. I think releasing DLC videos as quickly as possible will be to your benefit. Take that with a grain of salt, though... as you know, I'm posting boss fights from a game that's well over a year old, but it's a challenge run so perhaps that's a different crowd. And I don't have a ton of subs, so what do I know, right? Anyway, it was a fun ride and I'm glad you enjoyed the game.

well, congrats on beating the over all worst boss in the game on your second try :D also, don't worry, once you've beaten Dark Souls 1 you will like this area probably a lot more since it reveals a bit of Lore that we all wanted to know since DS1 ;) good luck with the nameless king (whose name might actually be Faraam but that's just a theory), you'll need it ^^

Another fun episode, Pete. One thing I noticed at the beginning of the episode when you were comparing two shields... you can upgrade shields just like you can upgrade weapons and a lot of people don't bother because they don't see the benefit, but there actually is quite a lot of benefit. When you upgrade a shield it increases the "stability" which dictates how much stamina you lose when you block with the shield. Upgrading a shield will help you manage your stamina better AND make you get staggered less. Good luck with the Nameless King. The dragon is irritating because of the camera swings, but you'll learn that phase pretty fast. The Nameless King, as you saw, is relentless, hits really hard and has a lot of combos. Same as any boss, though. Eventually you learn his moveset and he goes down. Shields with high lightning resistance can make him easier, but the best advice is to just pay attention to his weird delays and learn to dodge him.

i have played Prominence Poker since release and i know poker. the game look ok but seriously could look a lot better. (Just check out what graphics Unreal Engine 4 can produce). This looks more like a Playstation 3 game than made for PS4. Regarding gameplay,there are WAY to many Bad Beats happening. The only reason im winning is because of my skill level. 90% of my Sit n Go games im Topp 3. For others this is bound to be a loosing game. yes the game is free...but the chips are way more expensive than on Pure Holdem. i do hope a better looking poker game with a better card algorithm comes out. As of now both prominence and pure holdem have bad poker algorithm and its strange that they dont take care to make the game like it should be....Great.

well, that bossfight went surprisingly smooth... ...like always xD Yes, there is quite a bit more to this game than what you have done in your playthrough, especially concerning PvP and NPC-questlines and especially the lore, but i'd recommend playing through DS1 before really going deeper into the lore because that way you will understand a lot of the connections and between characters and you will understand why the people are doing what they are doing. ^^ And to everyone who was watching: Be honest guys, did you try to parry Soul of Cinder when he entered his second phase? :D

Unbelieveable. After that first try I figured you'd be raging on that for awhile but you really nailed it. FYI, there was a final elevator shortcut just before the boss so you could go straight to the boss. And you should go back and hit it even though you've killed the boss because it's a double elevator and at the very bottom is a titanite slab, which are hard to come by. As for the impressive damage you're getting out of your sword, that's kind of how Dark Souls games are constructed. Most games give you much better armor and weapons as you progress, but Dark Souls games are carefully engineered so that with the proper skill and planning, you can beat the game with virtually any weapon. That's how people pull off SL1's and such, but for a new player trying to beat the game with a starting weapon is damn impressive.

Awesome video, as always. The sword you found wasn't the regular longsword, it was the greatsword. Fine weapon, but completely different moveset. The Lothric Knight Longsword will have the same moveset as your current weapon, which is why I suggested it. But honestly, you're almost done so what's the point? Plus, if you can beat the game with your longsword, you'll be ready for your SL1! Just kidding, that's a serious time commitment, or at least it was for me. Those roof gargoyles are kind of a pain, but you don't have to kill any of them, really. You just need to establish your route. A big warning as you go forward! If you kill the final boss the credits will roll and it will ask you if you want to begin Journey 2. Don't begin Journey 2 as it will simply restart your entire game. That would shut you out of any optional areas you might want to explore, bosses, drops, etc. Plus we don't know where the DLC will start, so you might be forced to replay a sizeable chunk of the game just to get to the DLC start. Good luck on the next boss!

Great video, as always. As to your question about the coiled sword fragment, it can be traded to the crows for a titanite slab. I'm not certain whether you've found the crows or not, but they're on the roof of the Firelink Shrine. To get to them you'll want to purchase the tower key from the handmaiden if you haven't already. Simply drop various items into their nest (leave them, don't "discard" them). And you'll get another item in return. Check the google to see what you can leave and what you'll get back. As to your question about which weapon to upgrade, I personally wouldn't upgrade either. But you've come so far, literally to the end of the game with your starting weapon, you might consider leveling up your longsword just for the bragging rights. And you've got several slabs at your disposal coming up, so wasting one isn't the end of the world. If you DON'T want to finish the game with your longsword you might consider a similar weapon that feels comfortable like a Lothric Knight Longsword (higher damage, better reach, same moveset) which you could easily farm back at the Dancer bonfire. There are several of the plain vanilla knights patrolling out there that will drop swords and those knights will seem easy to you now. Another powerful longsword is the Dark Sword, dropped by Dark Wraiths. You can farm those outside the Farron Keep Perimeter bonfire where two are patrolling. They're tougher to kill and the sword will likely take longer to get as a drop, but it's a solid weapon with a similar moveset to what you're using. You lose your R2 stab, though. Personally I'd farm for a Lothric Knight Longsword. Good luck, you're almost to the end! But there are some wicked bosses ahead. If you want to take on the hardest boss in the game you can do so at any time. Just go back to the Irithyll Dungeon and use your "path of the dragon" emote on the ledge looking out towards the Archdragon Peak. You'll know it when you see it.

Thing is 7-2 players will shove as the win gives you a trophy if you win the hand, its an incentive for trophy hunters. I've played a lot of poker games , this is easily the best.

I didn't play the 2nd weekend of the test but to me it felt a lot slower to T1 even though it was supposed to be more fast paced. The whole new titan rodeo doesn't work for me, I actually enjoyed the old system a lot more.

Monday morning, I sit down with a cup of coffee, Pete's posted a new video! Sweet! I was waiting for the moment when you realized you were back at the beginning of the game. Damn impressive Gundyr fight for a first playthrough. The "Path of the Dragon" is the only emote in the game with actual utility. It will open up two optional bosses, including what's widely considered the hardest boss in the game, The Nameless King. You'll need to go back to the Irithyll Dungeon for that. Oceiros and Gundyr are completely optional, though it's a shame to skip Gundyr because it's one of the most exciting boss fights in the game. What you're really after in there is the Path of the Dragon emote, The Prisoner's Chain (you broke his soul!) and the coiled sword fragment. You better look that one up... I was afraid you'd sell it to the handmaiden. From here you can either use the emote to access the optional areas or head through Lothric Castle from the Dancer bonfire. Instead of heading down towards Oceiros, head up towards the castle. Anyway, great video. I watched the entire thing and I often skip around longer videos to catch the highlights. The coffee probably helped, but I have to say you have a ton of skill for a first-timer. You take it too hard when you die. Believe me, you're dying far less than some experienced players. Twitchy bastard...
