As a Dutchy I'm deeply ashamed for the grafitty filth on the 1st class car.... Vandalised in a once clean country with hard working decent folks. Now are we overrun by asian arab african r@ts who are freeloading on money houses and healthcare.

Very nice trip report ! very detailed; Finally I got to see the details of ELA railway stations (its passenger tunnel); The Business Class was empty, thats seems to be normal; And you were eating all the time - also very normal on that train route :-)))

They usually sell those. Couchettes are usually full. Sleeper cabins best way to save cost is to book a double sleeper and pray no one will take the other bed. 90% i am lucky with this method(a sleeper train regular)

Es fällt mir in den niederländischen Bahnhöfen auf, dass keine offizielle Aufschriften und Schilder auch in Deutsch sind. Überall nur Niederländisch und Englisch, selbst nahe der deutschen Grenze. Im Pariser Bahnhof Gare de l'Est ist es anders. Alle entscheidenden Angaben sind in Französisch, Englisch und Deutsch. Selbst im Bahnhof von Nevers (Mittelfrankreich) liest man auf den Bahnsteigen: Sortie, Exit, Ausgang. Auch sind die Angaben in Prag dreisprachig: Tschechisch, Englisch, Deutsch. Sind die Holländer deutsch-feindlich ?

Minute 4:45: Isee four bottles of free mineral water. You write two bottles. Can't you count ? I learned counting 1 to 5 in the kindergarten. Ich sehe vier Flaschen Gratis-Mineralwasser. Sie schreiben von zwei Flaschen. Können Sie nicht zählen ? Ich hab das Zählen von 1 bis 5 im Kindergarten gelernt. 😂😂😂

If you see this as to go from one railway station to the other in Budapest, yes, there's no point. But this train connects all the important cities in the northeast. The train goes in the opposite direction, as well, so it enters the loop the other way. It helps Nyíregyháza (the furthest to the east in the loop) to have double as much trains to Budapest it usually has. Debrecen has plenty of ICs, Miskolc has, too, now Nyíregyháza as well. And if you have business in the region you are connected both ways.

Der Lokwechsel in Bad Bentheim entfällt schon seit einiger Zeit. Die ICs von Amsterdam nach Berlin sind mit niederländischen Vectrons anstatt der deutschen BR 101 bespannt. Da die Vectrons mehrsystemtauglich sind, ist kein Lokwechsel mehr nötig.
