Great work! When I first saw the shot, I was convinced the actress actually was wearing the suit and the VFX were „just“ the HUD and the set - I would have never suspected the whole suit to be animated/replaced. Awesome work!!!

@@fagerborg960yes. As a blender user. Cycles render is good but not advance as compare to Arnold.but apart from rendering side. Accessibility in blender is much more better than maya in my opinion.like blender has geo tracker,geometry nodes etc.. as a studio point of view maya is better because of pipeline that build around those software’s like max and maya. But as an solo artist. Blender is better and easy to work with. If you don’t like cycles. You can use other rendering engines like render man, redshift,octane etc. Note: I use both maya and blender and Houdini as well for my workflow. In both studio work and personal projects.

What would be the cost of creating this VFX scene for a feature film in USD?
@fagerborg96019 күн бұрын
It depends a lot. So many things to consider. Once you have the assets and the setup it's pretty easy to do more thos, so not sure anyone would only do 4 shots for a feature. It also depends if you're hiring me doing it all, or if you're going through a studio :)

@@fagerborg960I think Ai is a good thing for enhancing and accelerating the real human art creation instead of using it for the direct concept idea, I mean basically Ai concept just stealing other human artists creations, it’s just my personal value preference about art creation
@AlternativeCutsStudiosАй бұрын
@@vectorhunter4659 Do you think studios don’t use other people’s work for reference? In the end, it's always a mix of different ideas that creates something new. Besides, would you be able to draw a concept? Even if you can model, it doesn't mean you have an artistic sense. 3D artists get concept art to work from, but if you don’t have a concept artist or artistic talent, you rely on references. Whether those references are from humans or AI-generated doesn't matter. The final result will end up being something different anyway. Being a concept artist is a full-time job. Do you think one person can be an expert in everything?

Amazing! But, and this is only a constructive contribution, with no intention to annoy, if the only real thing is her face, perhaps it would have been less laborious to do everything in CGI, including his face, scanned and animated with facial motion capture; as she has soft expressions, it would have been quite simple... perhaps her eyes could be real, recorded and mapped onto the 3D face. You would have saved yourself the 3D scanning of the environment and the helmet, making the physical helmet and the set, all the recording, and all the motion capture of the camera and helmet (well, in exchange you would have had the facial motion capture) Anyway, is only my opinion. Your work is great. Thanks.
